Wondering if a trade involving Kolb is in the works. It would not surprise me one bit if he is.

I hope our roster isn't that bad where the Cards are counting on other teams cuts to be contributors. If a guy isn't good enough to make a roster, for any team, then I doubt he'll have any effect on another teams roster.
It's not like some team is hoping the Cards cut Mike Adams so they can pick him up to complete their team. Guys getting cut are interchangeable.
Yes and no.
We may have a CB to trade that fits a slot as a top 3 or 4 on some other team.

Not necessarily. For instance I know a Major League baseball scout who looks for good minor league players stuck behind star players at the Major League level that they can pick up. For instance a guy playing catcher in the St.Louis Cardinals organization. No way he's going to beat out Molina.
I doubt it, I can't see any of our CBs be slotted any higher on another NFL team than they are here...honestly, aside from Peterson, it isn't like we have a lot of quality...Gay hasn't looked good in the preseason and was an average player at best in Pittsburgh, Toler obviously isn't 100% yet and honestly who knows if/when that will happen, Jefferson was pretty bad last year and Adams is most valuable on ST...Fleming is the only one left that may have value and we just drafted him and I think he has too much promise to trade.
The guys I see having the most value to other teams are the WRs-Roberts and Doucet. Not sure what we could get for either one though.
That works well until Molina gets run over by James, I mean, Josh Harrison.
OK how about being a shortstop behind Cal Ripken from May 30, 1982 to September 20, 1998?

Cris Dishman at RT it'll be cool.

Shocked at the Haggans axeing over Brandon Williams
Anyone see any surprise cuts on our end today? I don't really think so - but I wouldn't shed a tear if Heap were gone (don't think it will happen because he took less money this year) and wouldn't be floored a vet like Haggans or James Sanders went in favor of younger blood.
He wasnt axed over Brandon Williams. B Williams was waived/injured.
We only have 3 OLB's, and kept 11 DB's.
One of those DB's better not get comfortable, because they are about to get a rude awakening. No way we keep all 11 of them past this weekend.
