If Marc Stein writes it for ESPN, it probably means its true. ******** it, the Spurs? I mean, he'll be buried in their rotation, its not his style. Ug

He isn't gonna help the Spurs all that much. But he would have been nice to have.

The question is, do we go after anybody else, or go in like this? I suppose the thing to do is go in like this, see if anything's missing, then use the trade exception.

In all honesty, the Spurs were the perfect fit for him. They're attitude is pretty similar to Finley's, he has no pressure, and will probably win a championship.

Here's to Nick Van Exel starting a fight, making Duncan cry and then submarining their entire season.

Talk about a predictable thread! :D

The question I have now is do we look at the Spurs and continue to build, or stay as-is, which was the plan BEFORE Finley and Van Exel...

Not surprising he wen't for the clear cut favorite. Damn now I hate the Spurs even more. If he went to the Heat he would have at least been in a different conference. This sucks, I'm going home...wait I already am home! Damnit!

Good question, while the Suns have sacrificed scoring to build their team around the 2005 Spurs that could outscore them and defend them, the Spurs have added more scoring options while keeping the same defensive players. So do the Suns now trade away all their defensive players for scorers? :)

Noooo! Don't tempt me! see the other thread I already got hammered for this.

Suns trade Amare to Sprus for a big bag of money! Saver says Amare hates babies.

Man, those jerks didn't even send Tim Duncan or Manu or Parker to try to butter him up. They only sent Pops.

Amare make them pay. Make them all pay!

I have a feeling Finley might take starting SF away from Bruce Bowen.

Didn't Ginobili come off the bench to start the year last year?
I am pretty sure he did, but can not rememeber who started? They may start Finley and then bring in Manu.

Anyway, now that I think about it who cares.............! :bang:

Can we get Brent Barry now?

EDIT: Or Damon Jones?

I wouldn't want either to be honest

we should stand pat for now (maybe gay payton??). but by the trading deadline we should use our trade exception + a pick and/or player for a good SG.

I thought Finley wanted to make a difference? He could sit on the bench all season and the Spurs would still be the number one team in the NBA.

Popovich was pissing all over us when he said he thought Finley would come to the Suns.

It's ok though, atleast Sarver will direct a chicken dance at the Spurs again.
