Keim will get next off season to continue this rebuild. I think MB knows this is 2-3 year project and will give SK the time. This year was about 3 things to me: 1). Resetting a new identity on offense 2) hoping the defense would be OK switching to a 3-4 look. 3) getting out of cap hell from dead money

Kiem has no excuses in 2020. Crap ton of cap space. Year two for K1 and KK in the NFL.

Did you think we could just wave a magic wand and all of a sudden be a contender?

Last year was horrible and you seen SK rip it apart and start all over. Now if we hadn’t done anything then yes fire him but we are in the process of rebuilding

We have a QB and head coach with 3 games under there belt...relax.

And we’ve been devoid of talent in several key areas for years. Keim has been the one constant since 2013. Most teams have at least one position in which they excel or are Top-10 in the league. What position is that on this team?

SK will get one more season to fix this debacle. If we stink next season, I think MB will clean house, including coaching.

So give him another top 5 pick and let him overpay any bum free agent he hopes will help short term in an effort to save his job? I really hope you’re wrong but unfortunately I tend to agree with you.

Just seems like something MB will do, but I am confident that if we suck again next year (sub 5 wins) no doubt SK is gone.

I am not a fan of firing anybody during the season. Like you said been a constant since 2013 and what only 5 winning seasons? A revolving door or talent and bad picks. This guy should have been gone a long time ago.

CB, OLB and used to be RB

but Peterson and Johnson both have issues

The Cards CANNOT afford to give Keim another season. We're coming up on an offseason with boatloads of cap space, a franchise-defining offseason that will make or break us for years to come. They CANNOT shrug their shoulders and say, "eh, let's give him one more season to fix his own mess." That would be stupidity of the highest order.

These next roster decisions with cap space are going to be a big deal for the next several years. Get Keim out of here end of season give the new guy a chance to put his imprint on the organization. If the Cards don't? No GM is going to want to be saddled with decisions he makes in the offseason that will handcuff the new GM for several years.

Couldn’t agree more. Keim went out and hired a losing head coach from a bottom feeding college program and drafted 1st round quarterbacks back to back. If this team doesn’t win 6 games or show remarkable progress towards the end of the season he has to be gone.

Can't fire the owner so it falls at the feet of the General Manager.

At this point I do not want Keim running another draft, free agency or making new hires.

If the team continues to lose and Keim is retained the problem is as bad as it can possibly be. Blind loyalty is the kiss of death for a professional sports franchise.

A team that is lacking talent at several key positions and has $35M in dead money. That is on Keim.

This is so true. The Cardinals have so many holes to fill. And too much was expected from a rookie coach and a rookie quarterback.

What's sort of ironic is the Cardinals offensive line is not ready for four receiver sets but this was known coming into the season.

This is not a thread for firing him now, this is a placeholder thread when that time will inevitably come. We are sneaking closer, and closer to that time period given the lack of results on the field. If you have any further questions please let me know.

Thank you

I say "fire God". Why do we always want to fire a coordinator, a head coach, a GM, force the owner to sell....

We all know where the real problem is. God hates all of us Cards fans.

Has 98.7 started talking about Cardinals front office? That is the first sign Keim is going to be gone sooner than later.

Otherwise it is not going to happen.

I didn’t hear it, but my buddy said they were discussing a poisonous culture this morning.

I'm on board with his firing season end. Be prepared for a new coach as well. 3 in 3 years. Yikes. Bidwill, step up. End this madness.

With a new coaching staff, the poisonous culture could be from one place inside the building that is front office. Interesting to say the least.

He can’t talk about the waiver claim order anymore...

Just like this board, Keim is tired of negativity from fans. So Keim is going to pivot attention to possible 2020 first overall pick.
