I am excited for Doucet, and more excited to see how Doucet, Breaston, and Fitzgerald work as a unit.
Throw in Roberts & the Cards still have a top 3 WR unit w/o Quan. Within the next 3 years, Roberts will make people forget #81 because I think he will be that good.
Nobody is going to forget Q. I'm surprised by how often I hear this...

+1To go through what he did without pain medication??????
I can't imagine ANY player ever being tougher than Q.
+1
Anyone who went through the awful, awful seasons in the early the 2000's well never forget the Big Bang that start to turn this organization around.
Are you talking about Larry Fitzgerald? Because the most hopeless season in Arizona Cardinals history featured #81 scampering around when the score was 35-7.
I truly believe that Anquan Boldin had very, very little to do with this organization turning around. He wasn't even around during the offseasons where the team really turned the corner.
What made the Cardinals competitive, recognizable and relevant was the emergence of arguably the best WR duo in the league and that all started with Anquan coming into the mix.
what made the Cardinals competitive, recognizable and relevant was WIZ and winning games. They weren't ANY of those things before he got there.

This goes without saying. The premise of the argument was whether or not Q was any part of the mix. That also goes without saying
eh... you could say that about pretty much the whole team though. it was basically the same team for years that would put up pretty stats which had no impact on winning games.

Yes, but some of the leftovers that come with that are Reggie Wells and Gerald hayes.
The only two guys that came over from the McGinnis era that had any impact on the Super Bowl team were Q and AW.
My issue is with people mitigating what Q brought to this team. Very easy to do now that he is a Raven.

The "shockwaves" that his holdouts sent through the lockerroom resulted in two NFC West titles
and a Super Bowl appearance. Where's the evidence of the leadership when it counted? Where was Q during the most important road game maybe in Cardinals history (against Carolina two seasons ago)?
For all the "competitiveness and fire" that Anquan Boldin allegedly brought to this team before coach Whis got here, they really weren't that competitive, were they?
