Sad but true. The show is gone. Another show with huge potential. Man, two shows I watch are down.

I enjoyed the show and the finale is next week. So, I can let you know then. However, I think the show is worth watching IMO.

I'm reading the book that this is based on and I just got to a part where a scientist discusses my biggest problem with it -- people wouldn't be doing mundane things if they knew what that moment was. He took it even further: people would be telling their past selves about the future. What stocks to buy and when to sell, who wins the next superbowl, etc...they'd just cram as much useful information into that two minutes as possible.

That's it? With the warning that they had that the series was cancelled, that was the best they could do? Yeah, it was cool in parts, but that's a series wrapup? FAIL! Chuck did way better when they were uncertain if the series would be renewed or not--it was a complete and utter ending. Instead, we get an open-ended ending. I feel like I completely wasted my time hoping it would get better only to, ultimately, be disappointed. Ugh.

So now that the finale is over, should I watch the series, or will it just piss me off in the end?

They found out about the cancelling of the series after filming had been completed. Its disappointing to see what could have been (this series really got its legs later on) but it is what it is

Boy, stout. That;s harsh, man! :)

This wasn't Lost where they got to set their own timetable (no pun intended). The only thing that's disappointed me about this series is that it was canceled. I hope the networks keep buying series cut from this (and Lost's) cloth.

Yeah, and Chuck had the same problem last season. In fact, they were so sure it would be cancelled that they FINISHED the series, leading me to think it was finished. Then, when Chuck was renewed, they came at it fresh the following season. Flashforward could have done the exact same thing because they absolutely knew they were on the bubble as far as returning or getting cut. They FAIL in this finale!

What made it cancelled? Because it postpone it for a few months. After four shows, until it started in the spring, back up. Had it stayed on a year long/season schedule. There could had been a second season. But ABC was too stupid to do something like that.

If it would have continued to next season, it would have been fine. If they would have, like, actually ended it, it would have been fine. Heck, if it was supposed to be a mystery-ending show, that would even have been fine. Yeah, it was none of the above.
