So many moralist out of there
Not everybody has the full control , someone learn from mistakes
He didnt hurt anyone, just himself, he was drunk and he decide to stop his car.
He will pay for it
If or buts wont change the world

let him who is without sin cast the first stone

It's not like that at least for me. He let the Cardinals down. He gets charged with a DUI and perhaps has a chance to win a SB I'm supposed to be happy for him?

He reportedly had a blood alcohol of blood-alcohol level of 0.217 percent according to Scottsdale Police.

If he had hurt someone would you feel the same?

He needs help. I don't know him personally.

But as a football player: Screw him. He really hurt the team this year. He had to go.

That's a joke no alcohol and heroin aren't even in the same ball park.

I wish him the best and I hope he does get his life together

I wonder how many people are involved in heroin related deaths compared to alcohol related deaths. I don't know the answer but alcohol has to be right up there. Alcohol deaths are serious stuff.

As for Floyd getting his life together I'm all for that. Maybe he has his life together. It looks like it today.

I agree with you. It's like he might get rewarded for doing something bad.

And, he didn't stop his car. He passed the heck out at a stop light. A stop light that is about a mile from my home. Just because he didn't hurt someone doesn't make it okay.

This turned into something more than I intended. If Floyd had been traded to the Patriots without the issues I would be happy for him. It's the circumstances that was disconcerting for me.

What did Floyd do to warrant any type of bad karma? Did he leave via free agency? No. Did he disparage the franchise and it's fans on his way out? No. Is he a wife beating, drug using dope? No. He has some personal issues, yes, but he's done nothing to warrant anyone wishing him ill will. I wish him the best.

Not sure why anyone wishes him ill will. He had a bad year for the Cards but didn't ask to be cut, the team decided to move on and he took the best opportunity for him. Is it his fault that the NFL's best organization for the past 17 years offered him a chance?

Because drunk driving kills more people than gun violence. Drunk driving once I can reasonably see as a mistake. Albeit the biggest mistahe of your life, and one that would prompt most people to never touch a drop ever again, but a mistake none the less. But drunk driving twice? Twice? He was given his second chance after the 1st DUI. Now, there is no excuse. He should be buried beneath the prison.

My ill will towards Floyd has nothing to do with football.

In your world is it all 2nd time DUI offender's that should be imprisoned for life or only NFL players?

Do you find humor in drunk driving? Ever known someone killed or injured by a drunk driver? It definitely is not a laughing matter.

My family was hit by a drunk driver when I was 6...on Scottsdale road, along old town. We were at a stoplight and she didn't stop...hit us in the back, while doing 55 mph...got her car stuck under the back of our car and pushed us through the stoplight and up to the next stop light...another driver saw everything and actually pulled his car in front of ours, to keep us out of the next intersection. I was smashed in between the front and back seats (this was 1978) and I had to be revived at the scene...Crushed all of my ribs and collapsed/bruised lungs...I was in the hospital for well over a month...and it sucked! The passenger in the car that hit us was ejected through the windshield...I can remember waking up in the emergency room and she and I were next to each other...my mom was holding both of our hands...that lady went through over 8 hours of surgery, just to remove the glass from her body...no idea how much it took to reconstruct her face...The driver that hit us wasn't hurt (like you always read about) and was just walking around the emergency room, with a ticket in her hand, like it was no big deal...I will never understand or forgive anyone that drinks and drives and puts themselves and other innocent people at risk!

I find humor in senseless overreactions. Did Floyd kill anyone? Did he hit anything? I have friends who were killed by people driving poorly. Have you ever driven poorly? Should I lump you in with their killers? I had a kid I coached killed by a texting driver. Have you ever done anything but be at ten and two when driving? Nobody is advocating for drunk driving but the post I quoted was ridiculous.

Floyd was an idiot to drink and drive. Not only drink and drive, but got so loaded that it was considered an extreme DUI. He didn't hurt anyone, thank God, but still...beyond stupid.

I have no problems with the Cardinals cutting him. From the reports I read, the team cut him because he felt no remorse for what had happened, felt no reason to apologize or seek treatment. Again: If true, he's an idiot.

I don't want that kind of selfish, uncaring fool on this team. I hope he spends time in jail, then gets the treatment he needs. I will not root for the Patriots.
