As I recall, we had our chance at Flozell in the 1998 draft, but we took Anthony Clement instead with our second pick in the second round after Corey Chavous. In the first round we took Wadsworth. Dallas took Flozell two picks after we took Clement!! One of the rumors was that Flozell had been passed on until the Dallas pick because he was hard of hearing in one ear. Like I said, we had our chance - too late now.

The Cardinals need a tackle. They could do a whole lot worst than a 5 time pro-bowl player at that position. While we are at it. No mentions of Orlando Pace, or has he signed some place else?

He's not the player he was 5 years ago, but he's better than what we have at either tackle spot, IMO.

Absolutley. We only have Bridges and Brown as offensive tackles with relevant experience and he is better then both so bringing Adams in to at least see whether he is somebody worth having on the team is a good idea.

I have no idea if he can still play. But you can never have too much quality linemen on either side of the ball.

He might be worse than a pro-bowler? Oh, no! ;)

Davis was unfairly persecuted here, IMO. We shouldn't have let him walk (we should have just moved him to guard).

Anyways, we shouldn't ask ourselves "is he better than Davis?" we should be asking "is he better than Bridges (or Brown)?" Personally, I think the answer is "yes" (on both counts).

I agree on both accounts. Especially the part where we should have kept Leonard Davis. He is a Guard and has dominated for Dallas. He could have been a huge help for us and our running game!!!

Flozell is better than either of our guys and we can move turnstyle to the right side....oh wait...Matt is left handed!

Flozell is a penalty machine who is in a turnstiles body. He allowed 49 sacks, hits or pressures on 550 pass attempts. Compare that to Bridges and Gandy who allowed 59 sacks, hits or pressures on almost 600 passing attempts.

He is not an upgrade a year later at the age of 34. Jerry Jones doesn't let go of players because he just doesn't feel like paying them anymore, he cuts them because they suck now.

Looking at our tackle situation I would have to say bring him in. Sign him to a two year contract until this years draft pick is ready to take over. I don't mind Bridges as a backup but I don't want to see him as our starting left tackle.

Our starting LT and RT is on the roster. We aren't drafting him.

THIS. Just because you might not like our current situation at OT is not a reason to bring in a has-been. The guy just isn't any good any more and would make us worse at the position.

Adams is also one of the dirtiest players in the NFL and a penalty machine. Still a good run blocker but lost it as a pass protector. DO NOT WANT.

Surprised it took this long to be mentioned. The cheap shots he gets in and the altercations he instigates are detrimental. The league probably has his number on speed dial for punishments.

Justin Tuck and I agree with you
