With what? They are functioning over the cap and already used their MLE on Harrell. They have nothing to trade or sign and trade.

After the moves they have already made I'm learning to accept it. Team like the Warriors and Lakers are in another league. They probably have some exception we have never heard about.

Maybe they will get Bogdan for the veteran minimum. (sarcasm)

I mean are the Warriors being well ran now? The window had clearly closed right. There in cap hell now and what’s the best case for them? Second round?

They have the money so I'm not going to spend time time worrying about their ownership losses.

Second or third sounds about right.

Our front office is so tight-lipped that they won't even tell the agents who they are interested in signing.

It seems like the local media is frozen out as well. In the past someone in the media would say the Suns are done for the day but not a cheep.

I expect we are just resigning our guys. Saric and Carter tendered. Payton is signed. No comment on Baynes yet.

I like to think that Paul is somehow trying to convince someone to come here. But these contracts being signed are outrageous. The league isn’t from my understanding in good financial standing and haven’t grown the fan base in years.

I know too many former NBA diehards who turned into casual turn a game on type guys.

A reported rift between Harrell and Kawhi?

There are a lot of options out there like Millsap and Ibaka although Ibaka may not be realistic.
Was going for that Paul effect, Ibaka would be my first choice, but I think the Suns don’t have that I’ll give a discount factor like they did under colangelo

It's not about a discount anymore.

All anyone has left is the mid level.

The Chris Paul effect could still happen but the money has to be near equal.

Hill would have been nice. Oh well. We’ll see if anything transpires day two.

  • Suns officials confirmed to Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic that the organization is enacting furloughs on some employees and pay cuts for many others. Sources tell Rankin that more than 30 employees have been furloughed due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic, while remaining employees within all departments are taking 20% pay cuts.

  • Hard to justify some of these contracts when I read stuff like this.

The Pelicans just passed us. At this rate we might struggle just to make the play-in.
