There goes one of my targets, Bobby Portis.

And now, another one of my targets is off the board.

I know we don't have much to work with but it feels like Jones is content with settling for scraps and that concerns me.

I'm hoping the Suns make at least one good addition. When the Suns signed Chris Paul I thought it signaled more commitment to improving the team.

Milwaukee signs Portis and Augustin? How? They didn't have more than the MLE.

Yeah, I thought the same.

I still like the Paul trade but if you told me it would cost us our depth and that we wouldn't continue to improve the team in FA then I probably would have voted no on the poll for this trade.

That's amazing. I thought someone would leave us Augustin.

I voted no and hoped I was wrong. Still hope I am wrong.

I would think the Suns would add a big man and a guard.

WTF? Portis for the BAE? He had to have better offers than that

VanVleet stays with Raptors. That's a lot of money.

I would have absolutely voted no. Our team is now worse, not better, than last year.

And this scenario would have us at 9th or 10th in the West, behind the Lakers, Clippers, Nuggets, Warriors, Mavericks, Blazers, Jazz, Timberwolves and possibly Grizzlies.
Not disagreeing but that’s the situation with Paul’s deal. Where’s the PF he was supposed to bring? If PHX doesn’t make playoffs then the Paul deal was for nothing.
