This is the kind of guy Cards should be in on. Top 10 Guard, sub $10m. Still only 29. And Ossenfort was part of the team that drafted him.

And short so Kyler can see over him...

agree on the talent

he has one year left on his deal --- would be a $8.5mm cost for 2023

that says something later in the draft for comp

the Bucs are one of 6 teams with negative effective cap space -- compounded by the fact that they have no real QB on the roster

I love him, but no.

Get younger and more athletic across the board.

All teams need these types of players. You can't get younger and athletic everywhere.

Also we shouldn't sign lots of 36 year olds.

But one 36 year old playing at a high level that will sign one year deals and have a connection to the team are a good option for us.

Going to have to have some adults and credibility on D, esp on the D-line with the loss of Watt.

Budda and Thompson.. and re-sign Allen, there's your Dline leader. If you're in your 2nd or 3rd contract with the same team, you're old enough to lead, IMO.

To me, Calais would be a luxury at a position of need, if this team had winning expectations...kinda like Abraham and Freeney were when BA was here.

Allen is too young. Calais is NOT a luxury anymore, and on his last legs. He's not getting big money. Bring him in on the cheap to teach our young guys how to play. Who is the leader on the d-line?
