Point being is just giving people some idea of how some of these QBs have done as starters.Whats so hard to understand or is it too much for you to deal with?

Ouch. That hurt.

BTW, you bunched your Teddy Boy with a bunch of QBs who are mediocre NFL QBs at best. So is it your point that these are his peer group?

I will assume given your geographic location that you are a Louisville and Teddy Bridgewater fan and that might skew your take on him. Maybe not.

I am a Louisville fan I admit.I also have been a Stlouis/AZ Cardinals fan for 50 plus years.I like Bridgewater as a QB but I am leery of his asking price for a guy who basically miss the last year and a half.

Alex Smith I'm ok with. You know 3 or 4 years top just like Carson. Actually if we get him I think he could get that Kurt/Carson magic. Granted we need another WR. Bridgewater I'm good with if price is right. Cousins of course. My point is we still have an open window. Might be a crack but it's there. We need a very good QB. Not no freaking Keenum..Glennon etc

And for all you Mcvay peeps keep in mind all we did was sit on the couch a week longer but he and his team are on the couch with us. I knew they would choke. Not impressed

Agree. I have never seen anyone crowned as OC genius faster than McVay. He is good but can he sustain it? I have my doubts.

IMO with Teddy,...contract structure to protect the team in regards to his injury is just as important as price...
I do think he will command about double of what Keenum will sign for... maybe around $15mil per,..with escalating salaries towards $20mil per as the contract progresses.
He is a legit starting QB but there are also legit questions about his knee and if his head will recover from the knee injury.

I cant see anyone wanting to give Keenum more than $7-8mil a year unless he wins a Super Bowl.... which I am kinda hoping for... winning with Case under center makes it way more likley that Teddy will be available.

Regardless of that, he took a team that perennially underachieved and fixed that. Even though their end result is disappointing, the fact that they finally got over the hump to the playoffs is a big deal for a young program. Contrast that to us, a team that had the pieces in place, but ended up falling apart. Coaching can't fix injuries, but it's still an issue that we could have been at the top of this division and weren't.

There are really some who think Stanton should be re-signed? I know his record is what it is, cannot take that from him, but really? My goodness what lunacy.

Captain Overthrow is a horrid QB and he can be the “bridge”? Bridge to nowhere. SMH

Cudos to him for having “moxie” and playing with a torn up knee the last 2 games. Tough guy but needs to be gone. I am NOT drinking the Drewlaide. Son of Bruce made enough money here. Buh-bye big fella.

Not hopeful for the QB situation next year. They need to draft a QB and forget Drew or Gabbert were ever here IMO. Sign any of the other rejects and let the chips fall where they may.
