Russ, which player(s)/picks do you think it would take to get Jeudy?

I've been saying Simmons but honestly the second they got Russell Wilson, Jeudy probably went off the market if he was actually ever on the market.

having 2 high paid WR's and a blossoming star might not make sense with Drew Lock as your QB, it does with Russell Wilson.

I know. Just pointing out that the 40 numbers are fairly meaningless.

It was more a comment on his overall poor athleticism.

But also, 40's are not meaningless. Anquan is probably the only legit NFL WR to ever run that time and there are thousands that didn't make it because they ran that slow.

I certainly don't care about 4.33 vs 4.43 or 4.49 vs 4.55.

But 4.68 for a WR with no other discernible athleticism or skill set outside being tall is not nothing.

There's no rush to try this. Jeudy is still going to be there during/post draft.

We can wait to see how round 1 plays out. See who Denver takes and who falls to us. Then you can pick up the phone and offer a 2nd and something next year.

I am clueless on the direction the Cards are going this off season. Also negative because I am the most impatient person on this Board. Hopefully it will all work out and be excited about the team this fall. Bottom line is they do have some good players.
You'd fit right in with the front office. :D

I have an insane dream, with no reason why they would ever want to part with him... but would love the Cards to trade for that commie bastchad Terry McLaurin :)
I would trade Simmons, our first round pick this year, and next years second for him. He would be the ideal compliment to D-hop and would actually give us an outside chance to go far provided the Cards go OL in the second round of the draft and Keim does the impossible and actually hits on a OL guy... save this guy who is the most underrated WR in the NFL because no matter how bad we think we have it, imagine what Terry thinks being in Washington lol

Most of the stuff you read about him online says YAC is actually something he excels at.

If he's in your top 3 Wr's you suck, if he's your 5th WR and playing ST I think it's not such a bad move if we sign him.

Now hurry up and trade for Jeudy so we have a #2.
YAC last year was 3.7 yards per catch, not terrible but not exciting.

This is a team that was in desperate need of improvements to even hope to compete next year. Kyler is an under 12M cap hit!!! A truly baffling lack of urgency from a team that should be going all in.

At this point, why keep the draft picks? If you can't pick players that will be good, get the guys that already are good!

Especially for a high-value position like WR. It wouldn’t be like trading for a safety that mainly succeeds at blitzing(Jamal Adams).

Keim might not be the worst case scenario as a GM if he would just become the mad trading Keim who has hit on some major trades with the Cards. Maybe the draft is no longer the exact way to go, since it appears the players are having more say and the NFL is turning into the NBA... go young, trade for guys in their prime :)
