I just wanted to figure out which free agents may fall through the crack that the Suns can sign for a reasonable price (that is if the Clips match our offer sheet for Q)

Jamal Crawford - reading todays Insider makes it seems like both sides are on the verge of giving him up; if no one offers him alot of money maybe the Suns may scoop him up with little over the mid-level exception

Erick Dampier - the Warriors is reluctant to do a sign and trade unless they get something extravagent in return; as more time pass maybe he will be willing to sign with us for 8 million dollars

Toni Kukoc - always liked the Waiter; we might not have any use for him but I dont mind seeing him a Suns uniform

Rodney White - a 6-9 wing player with offensive potential; he could be a good sg/sf guy coming off the bench... cheaper then Q

Other notable free agents might be ... Rodney Rogers / Anthony Peeler / Vlade Divac / Kevin Willis / Morris Peterson

I think you might be able to get Divac and Peterson for relativly cheap moolah.

Dampier is certainly a long shot, but the problems everyone is having at working a sign and trade deal means the Suns will have a remote chance of being able to work something out.

The Rodney White saga is most curious. I'm not sure how much he is worth, but he absolutely killed the Suns when they played.

White is a SF.

He played SF with the Nuggets. At 6'9" 230 he is marginally big enough to put time in at PF, but it is not clear if he could adjust his game.

One guy that might be worth a short term deal would Fizer. He is 6'8" 260 and grabbed 4.4 rebounds in only 16 minutes but only played in 46 minutes. He was an RFA but was taken by Charlotte, which means he is unrestricted.

I would love to see the SUNS go after White and Mo Peterson rather than signing Richardson.
