oh my lord... what? you're expecting him to have the second best rookie WR season in NFL history? where the hell do you come up with this stuff?

In this offense, the focus of which is and remains Larry Fitzgerald, where is Tayvon Austin going to find 100+ receptions? That's some 150 targets, maybe? Between him and Fitz, some 80% of our QB's passes will go to two players.

Took Fitz five years in the NFL to score more than 10 TDs in a single season, and he hasn't done it in the last 5 years.

No problem, though, Drew Stanton is going to feed them both to the tune of 30 combined TDs.

I will officially get on board with the Tavon Austin will be more like Desean Jackson than Percy Harvin.

I have just never seen Austin show play with the physicality to be compared with Harvin. I would rather have Marquise Goodwin in the 3rd round than Austin in the 1st.

2005 Boldin and Fitz combined for 205 receptions and the rest of the team still had 214.

2008 Boldin had 89 receptions and 11 TDs, Fitz 96 with 12 TDs and Breaston had another 77 catches.

Those passing offenses ranked #1 and #2 respectively. So while it could be done it is extremely unlikely that it could be accomplished by the Cardinals anytime soon.

I think Austin would be a high risk at #7, but a more realistic value at #38. At least one guide projects him as a 2nd rounder. I could see that. (it has nothing to with which receiving tandem scored the most TD's etc. etc. and everything to do with defensive matchups, deep threats and the quandary it would put defenses in when deciding whether to double-cover Fitz, drop the 8th guy into the box, keep two guys back over the top etc.).

I could see him in a Patriot uniform. My only question is will the little

fella be able to take a beating in this league?
