Wonder if it’s going to be actually acknowledged that Mark Glowinski primarily played RG in college. For some stupid reason, Seattle played him at LG a majority of his time there. Indy signs him & plays him at RG, in which, shows that it was stupid of Seattle to move him to LG in the first place.

Hernandez has been bad at both LG & RG the past 3 years. He’s a terrible player, but only the Keim advocacy will act like it’s a solid one.

On #AZCardinals OL Coach Sean Kugler, Will Hernandez cites Kugler's ability to teach "technique" + how instills "attitude and nastiness."
The Kugler angle is really overblown. It's great that he's comfortable with Kugler, but there's a very limited amount of technique and ground-level teaching/coaching going on in the NFL.

I'm fine with this. Instantly anointing him the starter after the season he had last year seems odd, but I guess it's not surprising. I have a hard time seeing him as a noticeable upgrade, though.

The one year deal also keeps us at having only 2 Olinemen signed past this season. And one of them is Josh Jones, who appears to be heading to the bench once again.

Max Garcia and Josh Jones are proof of that. Throw in Mason Cole as well.

Gotta work with what Steve gives us I guess.

Did someone anoint him as a starter?

Justin Murray would've been the starting RG all year long had he not gotten hurt, he even started at RT against the Vikings & did an amazing job. Signing Hernandez isn't like signing Corbett but it's depth so it can't be a bad thing considering we already have Murray & Jones.

It is true that his coaching was poor. Still he has a lot of room for improvement.

Can he really be worse than Josh Jones?
I think most can convince themselves that Hern has been held back in NYG. Not much competition until the draft so the role is his to win for now.
