Just read a tweet from Coro saying that Janning and Lawal will be the inactives, meaning Siler is the 12th man.

I hear Oden will not be playing, but Aldridge is and I understand he is a beast. Here's hoping we don't get hammered inside.

I'm glad the Suns are liking Siler because I think he has upside to his game. He can already occupy space, grab a few rebounds but most of all he knows how to score inside with a soft touch. I'm not saying he won't have trouble adjusting to more athletic big men so I expect him to have to go through a learning curve.

Portland did lose some key players during offseason but i think they are still a good team and after their playoff lost to the Suns, they will be playing hard to prove a point to their fans.
I see the Suns preseason funk spilling over into this game, but i am excited and cant wait for the regular season to begin.
Is Childress playing tonight?

The Blazers should win, but if the Suns can keep it interesting, that will be a good sign.

Lets go suns should be a intresting season, I can't wait till tip off :) even without Amare as long as the suns have nash they have a shot at making the playoff's. Who is the guy we got to replace Amare Hakim Warrick right? If so ouch

Finally! The off-season always feel an eternity. It's pretty clear that we won't be anywhere as good as last season. I'll be interested to see to what level the Suns can maintain their offensive capabilities. Without Amar'e, will J-Rich post up more frequently? How will Turkoglu develop within the team? Can Nash find another player to complement his pick-and-roll mastery? Will the team chemistry be anywhere near that from last year? Barbosa and Amundson will be missed for their off-court presence as much (if not more) than for what they did on the court, I'm afraid.

As I cannot imagine Phoenix functioning from the get-go (especially after the devastating pre-season), I'd be taken by surprise by a Suns win today.

No idea what to expect from the Suns but opening night is always exciting! Let the recovery begin! GO SUNS!

Really would like to see Lopez have a big season. He averaged 6rpg as a starter last year, we need to see that up in the 8+ range, that would be nice.

Getting dominated on the boards already. 3 Offensive rebounds for the Blazers in the first 6 mins... Lopez let one go right over his head to Camby. Cmon guys, gotta hustle!
