Neither of the starting pitchers have begun to get loose here in Philadelphia, where the tarp is covering the field. They haven't announced anything, but this game is not going to start on time.

They said that the weather "window" of rain may allow them to get the game in.

Damn EC Rain
And humidity! When I went through Basic Training at Ft. Dix, the temperature and humidity
were both 90-95. Brutal! They actually curtailed some of the field activity because of it.

41 years in Phoenix and I have never seen a day that uncomfortable.

Even when it was 122. Even during Monsoon.

In the Valley, it may rain five days a year -- during the day.

Back in New Jersey, it rained five days a week. :)

Now that's how to offset the tendency of D-backs pitchers to give up runs in the 1st inning.

OK, I'll bite. You lost me after the asdfg.

The 3 HR's followed by a fly ball and popup.

I just hope we don't try to lift every ball into
the air, if the Phillies get a few runs.
