Escobar leaves him stranded. D-backs lead 3-1 after 5 innings.

Escobar, BTW, is second in the league in RBI's, ahead of some
pretty big names.

And just as I say that, Greinke gives
up a long HR and it's a 3-2 game.

Greinke is at 84 pitches.

If that were the D-backs MO, we'd be
higher in the Wild Card race.

A lefty is up in the D-backs bullpen.

Greinke reached 101 pitches in the 7th.

Will they pinch hit for him and waste a
bench player, before taking Greinke out?

Starting the game, Greinke had the 4th
highest slugging percentage in the lineup.

But Lamb is in the on-deck circle to hit
for him. And he strikes out.

Greinke is up this inning - at 101 pitches this will likely be it for him (although he still should bat :)
