The pace is dizzying right now. So much to wrap up in such a short amount of time! I feel like they are flying and yet we have NOT seen the White Walkers yet in all their glory.

Three less episodes means they have to cut out a lot of fluff.

Plus, with the story concentrated now on three main areas (Winterfell, King's Landing, and Dragonstone), the story is able to advance much quicker.

They have shown them already. They were in episode 1 marching south. Granted they didn't do anything other than march but you got to see they had giant's in their army.

Oddly enough, although there are three less episodes, there is only an hour and 55 minutes less total show time.

This scene looked like an Iron Maiden album cover come to life.

That's what I meant in all their Glory. We all know the battle is coming. We all know the other armies will have to face each other. Seems like much to jam into the few episodes left.

I don't think we'll get to the battle of the undead until next year. I think we'll see the families/groups fight it out this year and either be interrupted by the Wight Walkers coming through the Wall or they'll come through right after a big battle. We only have 11 episodes in total left, for the entire series.

They like teasing the undead, they ended season 2 with them marching south but didn't show them again until season 4.

They only have a few episodes this left this season to setup everything headed into the final episodes. Six episodes seems like a really short time to wrap up a show. Heck when a show has 22 episodes or 12 it seems like they never have enough time.

It does seem like a short amount of time but I'm sure the episodes will be longer like most are this year. I read something, thought it was here, that we're only getting about an hour and a half less than normal because most of the episodes this year go over the 1 hour/60 minute mark. So we're only getting 7 episodes this year but about 8 1/2 episodes worth of content.

The cutaway to Arya eating that yogurt looking stuff at the tavern was beyond gross

They are two for two this season with food gross outs. First episode had Sam cleaning the chamber pots and then they cut to some nasty looking soup being poured into a bowl.

LOL

Cersei is kicking arse.

It's been amazing so far. Easily best show on TV. I knew things were going to get worse before they got better. It seemed way to easy that things were lining up for them to obliterate Cersei.

Now with the weapon she has fashioned? I bet at least one of the dragons eats it before seasons end. I just don't see how she can take on Cersei while JS takes on the White Walkers. I don't think either of them can take on their foes on their own.

Can't believe there are only four episodes left now for the season. It's been so good this season.

I think you're right. They're going to have to team up in order to defeat one of their enemies. The question is will they and if so, who do they choose to go after?

I was kind of hoping when Olenna walked back into the castle after seeing the army marching towards her. That way she'd get a running start to pull a Tommen off of that balcony. I'm curious if she was truly given poison or something to knock her out so she could be brought back to Cersei. Jaime has to be a bit angry about the attention that Euron is getting, not just from the people but Cersei. Giving Cersei a gift like Olenna could help keep her attention on him rather than Euron. Most likely wishful thinking on my part though, I don't want Olenna to be gone. She needed a scene with Baby Bear Mormont before her time was up. Off screen deaths are disappointing, especially in GoT because you don't know if they really died like the Hound. I was hoping Stannis would show up last year since they never showed his death.

I know Bran is the Three Eyed Raven, that's all well and good, but it seemed like he went Dr Manhattan this episode. Very distant, monotone, and void of humanly emotions. I couldn't help but think he was doing a Dr Manhattan impression when he had his scene at the Weirwood tree.

It's been riveting. I think two dragons will die. One from cersei's weapon. AND ONE battling the army of the dead.

How could they not pit the dragons against the white walkers?!?
