Didn't see a game thread, I started one.

Tonight's game
Suns vs. Kings
When: 6 p.m.
Where: University Arena,
Albuquerque.
Radio: KTAR-AM (620).
Kings update: Phoenix beat Sacramento 100-88 on Sunday, when Shawn Marion led the Suns scoring for a third straight game. But it was backup center Brian Skinner's block of a Marion dunk try that became that game's buzz. "I don't think I've ever seen anything so pretty in my life," Kings co-owner Joe Maloof said in a televised halftime interview. Skinner is having an efficient preseason, with 58 percent shooting.

Kings vs. Suns in Albuquerque, tonight

What to expect from the Kings: Keep an eye on the health of Bibby and Hart and if the speedy Price can keep pace with a man known to push the tempo a bit in Steve Nash. Kurt Thomas against any number of the Kings' big guys will result in some bruises, to be sure. What to expect from the Suns: More of Nash, who was on his MVP game against the Kings on Sunday. And does Shawn Marion challenge Brian Skinner at the rim again, with Skinner emphatically winning the last challenge in Fresno?

Last game the Sacramento commentators said House got lots of playing time the last 20 something games and scored very well in all of them.

Love it. I'm going to love it even more when those who thought we lost too much in the backcourt realize that it is our system not necessarily the personel that makes our shooters roll. Having Nash helps too ;).

Man...if Boris Diaw could shoot, he'd be a really good NBA player.

The same was said of Joe Johnson at first...or at least that he was an inconsistent shot when he first came...im optimistic that D'Antoni thinks he has pretty good form and it seems like he just might need repetition and coaching....something he saw non of in Atl.....

The end of the game they put in Lever and Thompson. Thompson made a sweet move to get his own shot and swished it. Lever is supposed to be a three point threat, too. He didn't get the rock on offense in the 1 minute he was in.

House is instant offense and can play some point guard, too. I hope guys can see why I wanted him on the Suns the last few years. :)

I hope the coaching staff is concentrating on Diaw's shooting. He'd be unbelievable for us if he could nail those open shots he's been getting.

Diaw has made some awesome passes tonight and over the preseason.

I don't think House missed a shot tonight. He and Barbosa play well together.

One thing, when I watched Pat Burke made like 1 shot out of seemingly 50 he took tonight including missing layups. I don't know about Diaw, but if Burke could make a shot, he'd average 10-15 points a night easy as he is the guy on the floor to sag off on the double teams right now! :D

Watched the 2nd half.

Diaw better learn to shoot............he was open a number of times and just passed it. He will get less minutes with this team if he does not shoot.

Ahh, Eddie House can shoot.......! I thought I should mention that....:)

James Jones handled the ball better than I thought he could.

J Jackson hit some nice shots. He is just a good player!

Burke seems to be able to move well, and get in postion to rebound and shoot, but just could not get the ball to go in the hoop tonight.

I think some of the problems with Burke and maybe others, is that they have not played together enough and when the 2nd unit is in, they are out of postion a lot.

The suns were getting under the skin of Sac. in the third quarter, and they got a couple techs on Bibby and Kenny Thomas.

The best quote of the night from the Sac. announcers............
The Suns took the ball out of bounds on a turnover that rolled out of bounds, they passed two times and Marion layed it in,

"Well that took all of 1 1/2 seconds" :)

I missed the game thanks all for the recap. I am encouraged to hear they are playing well together and to think they really have not had all that much time to gel. It sounds as though they will be able to play well and stay in the playoff picture even without Amare. Man if he comes back after the break with fresh legs and something to prove the suns could go DEEP into the playoffs. Sounds like if everything works out they still got a shot this season.

this team can really shoot, i mean REALLY shoot. also, the passing is phenomenal. last year, nash leaves and we forget what the concept of pass refers to, this year, we're all passing. this team will be fun to watch, and may actually be reminescent of past dallas teams that were shot happy with little inside presence. that's alright with me until amare gets back, because if we play that well, we might actually be in the .500 region. the only problem is that we're waiting for cavalry that may not come back, and if it does will most likely not be the same as expected.

I'm hoping we can get amare back, and in playing condition by the last week in March. That doesnt seem completely unreasonable, that'll be 5.5 months, even in the recent article were he was hesitant about returning quickly, he said 4-6 months to get completely healthy. That'll give us 4 weeks to work him into what we're doing prior to the playoffs.

Was there any mention of why Grant didn't play?

I didn't watch the game but noticed that Burke got 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Did he defend reasonably well? I'm not worried about his shooting... that will come around if the other parts of his game are good enough to get him some PT.

I only listened to the game, but Burke sounded, useful.

Forward Brian Grant might sit out tonight's game against Sacramento in Albuquerque to rest his knees.

I watched it, Burke was alright defensively, he had a really nice block on Bibby.
He did very well collecting defensive rebounds and throwing the outlet pass up the floor.

Very impressed by James Jones. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see him average the same or close to the amount that Q averaged last year with a better %

I can't believe I missed a game on Tv, grrrr. I've been good of late (last 3-4 years) and for the newbies (I collect gamefilm) :D . I'm getting tomorrow's game, thought I read TNT...

I believe it's Golden State, so: Suns 124-Warriors 110
