All that matters is winning. This isn't college where style points matter for seeding. And we're going to win. Not sure why some of ya'll are crying. We're up at half in SF. The NFL is hard.

Because you hate giving a team like this hope. It was a really odd, disjointed half. Lots of running, which means a lot of time ground off the clock. Should have been short but officiating delays dragged it out.

After two emotionally driven games, this seems like a natural letdown game. At least the defense showed up.

We haven't won in SF since 2008. I would think that would provide enough motivation... maybe not.

Because championship teams don't consistently play like this vs. subpar teams. You can't always expect to just flip a switch, especially come playoff time.

I seem to remember The Giants being not so impressive during the regular season in both there recent championship seasons.

Not every good teams wins every game by 40.

If we can somehow keep the 9ers from pulling off a special teams TD or a pick 6 off of Palmer, we might pull this out. BUT, mark my words, if we cough up the ball for a TD or, if we give up a special teams TD, we're going down in this game.
We let a horrendous team believe they can win. On their field, this is a massive no-no and a sure fire recipe for disaster.
We will now need to play flawless the entire 2nd half...with virtually no margin for error.

We're winning. Our d is playing great and SF is blitzing a lot. I'm sure we'll make adjustments and we'll be fine even if one of those fluke plays happen

Patriots won by a point a couple of weeks ago because of fluky clock management by the Giants. **** happens.

We just won two very emotional, high stakes games. AZ will be fine. I warned you all that this would be an uncomfortable game.

Good example because one of those giants teams beat a team that won every game by 40 :D

Its kind of annoying how Chris Meyers is trying to kindle some black jersey mojo for the Niners.

Running the ball keeps Palmer healthy, but they have to throw it to run it. When they try to dictate with the run, they can't do it. Just like last week, they failed twice on third and one.

The Cardinals tried to upgrade a guard, center and tackle in the off season. And they still need to upgrade a guard, center and tackle.

It's not consistent, we're 8-2. And championship teams always lose games they shouldn't. There's only been 1 undefeated team, ever, and that was before free agency and parity. All teams lose.

And they aren't just "flipping a switch", this isn't the NBA where teams play 82 games and coast sometimes. Every game matters in the NFL and to relax will get them hurt. They're trying, it's just a divisional game against a motivated opponent, nothing more.
