This is not remotely true. Murphy was one of 3 FA CBs under 30 to get a contract over 7 mil per year. Allen was one of 4 IDL under 29 to get more than 10 mil per season, and not get extended by their team. 8 of the other 12 who were under 30 and got over 10 mil were extended by their team.

This is one of the worst arguments in sports because it fails to consider that it’s legendary because it happens once in a lifetime. But sure, keep hoping we signed a bunch of future Brady’s. No issue with setting unrealistic expectations.

I don't think he meant that there are 12 players playing DE available each year at Allen's caliber. I think he meant 12 players overall available with this skillset/talent at their respective positions.

DCR, I think you’re getting pushback bc you only commented on the name calling and not the questioning if fandom. It enhances the appearance that on ASFN you can attack people if their football take is negative. I get it, policing all those attacks can take a lot outta mods, there are a lot and they’re constant. If you are giving someone a multi year contract, age and how it fits into the prime of player's careers at that position you probably should care about age.
