Give me ANYTHING, that convinces me that Kolb has more upside than Skelton

I know it was "just the Rams" and I know he didn't play particularly well, I am not anointing Skelton as our Savior by any means.. But I fail to see anything in Kolb, that would lead me to believe he is better than Skelton.

If nothing else, it was nice to see a QB step up in the pocket, not run backwards 15 yards at the first sign of pressure.

Again, there's a reason why no other teams were pursuing him. He has the worst pocket presence in the league, and he doesn't know how to read through progressions. If his failures can get Graves fired, than I consider the signing a success.

Really that TD drive late in the fourth had nothing to do with the win?? I don't get that JS ran and threw perfectly on that drive and put us in position for what happened next.

I don't even think there's a question that Kolb reads defense better and is more accurate. That's not to say,over time, that Skelton becomes more adept at reading D's. But, at this point, it would even be hard for phrazbit to argue against that. BUt, then again, he may try.

I am not willing to go there. I have not given up on Kolb and Skelton is still getting his feet wet in his second year. I've always thought Skelton is the QBOTF. Skelton showed a lot of composure not letting the two safeties rattle him.

Our defense put us in that position. Skelton took 2 safeties, and threw a touchdown. So I will credit him with 4 points. Let me know when that wins you an NFL game.

Skelton came from behind in his last two played games. The offensive game plan tried to rely on running and it took Skelton to open things up. He needs game experience, but he simply does not get flustered.

We traded to get a QB who has much better skills than Skelton, but one that would have to adjust to a totally different offensive system. This is Skelton's 2nd year in the same system, so he should be more comfortable than a guy who has had a couple months to learn it, develop chemistry, and try and re-work 3 years of developed habits..
