great read. Somewhat of a misleading title though. This quote, from Captain Cardinal himself, sums up the characteristic of this team that I am by far most excited about:
"If we would have been in that situation in the past, we would have seen guys hanging their heads," Fitzgerald said. "The atmosphere on the sideline would have been different. But now there's not a guy on the sideline who didn't believe we could go out there and win this ballgame."

ba da ba ba baaaaa... I'm lovin it :D

I like this line from the article
It gave them their fifth overtime victory in what is now an eight-game home winning streak. And it demanded an investigation into how a team can so flagrantly violate the well-established law of averages.
I'd say it's karma, finally making things even! :)

ha... seriously!

I think King of Cards and Skkorp finally got access to the big Red Zone in the sky sitting up with our Maker and God can't take the stare down those two guys give him at the end of games anymore. All credit goes to our lost redbirds up in the heavens as far as I'm concerned.

Don't need luck.

The Cardinals full 53 man roster is a better than most other 53 man rosters.

There TEAM is very good.

Didn't need luck in explaining that.

Possible so but all positions are not equally weighted. I would think the QB is by far the most important player on a team and likely more than anyone else to decide an outcome. That being said we may be better at most positions but if our QB does not perform up to expectations it may not make any difference.

My retort is we are 4-0 & have by far tbe worse QB out of the undefeated teams.

How is Drew Brees doing?

So?

Bottom line is that The Team (including its QB) is 4 & 0 vs. Seattle, NE, Philly and Miami

(It takes a village...).

Or, maybe we have a better QB than we thought! Kolb certainly isn't the same Kolb we saw in preseason and last season in my eye's. Maybe Whiz actually knows what he is doing to get players to respond. Nah... couldn't be. Otherwise Lynart woulb the QBotF....

As the Cardinals defense is the bedrock of the team, it makes every game winnable. I think their effort makes the rest of the team want to rise up to the occasion.

I don't think Kolb is playing at Drew Brees' level. Just my opinion of the situation tho.

To me ?

A defense that creates 4 turnovers, gives the offense multiple chances to win the game, and creates a 60+ yard play that give the offense the ball inside the the 5 yard line.

Played a pretty damn good game. For all the whining about how the defense played against Miami, in my opinion, they still were the side of the ball that won the game for us.

That's just me.

If that is a poor performance for our defense, then if they play to the status quo for the rest of the year we will be Superbowl Champs regardless of what the offense does.

This is what you see from great defenses. On a day where they are struggling to contain the opposing offense they get turnovers to turn the game back their way. Stingy tough (Eagles) and opportunistic (Miami) is the perfect combination.

Another key stat indicating a strong defense is that our ILBs are leading the team in tackles instead of our DBs.

2010 3 of our top four in tackles were DBs. 2011 only 1 of the top 4 was a DB and this season Lenon and DWash have more tackles than our top 4 DBs combined.
