Kevin Kolb in MVP Discussion?

If he wins the MVP I will let all of Kolb's most fervent backers work together and design me a new avatar.

You're safe but there's a world of space in between being an MVP and the Kolb you obsessed over. Based solely on the one-track-mind approach you've had to Kevin Kolb you ought to be making a better offer to the Kolb faithful.

I'm not sure these stats support that Kevin Kolb is "killing it".

Your stats aren't all correct.

#9 in passer rating at 97.6.
#T22 in INTs (as is Matt Ryan) low number is good here
#20 in YPA at 7.03 (Brees, 7.08, rodgers lower)
T#7 in TDs
#18 in comp %
Roughly 5 or so in TD/INT ratio


Also, Kolb's killing it contextually is very different than someone like Rodgers who kills it much, much more impressively.

The title of this thread made cola shoot out of my nose.

Not so much the title, as the fact that we're discussing it at all.

Not that it couldn't happen (though it would be a longshot) but that we're only 25% thru the season with all kinds of unknowns in front of us.

After that game last night no one is even going to remotely mention Kevin Kolb as an MVP.
