Because we all know that Beanie is a durable every day back and not made of paper mache. Something told me that getting rid of him was going to come back and bite us. Now we have Chester Taylor to rely on. I think I'm going to throw up.

Doesn't help when Ryan Williams got hurt too. If they knew that, I don't know if Hightower is gone.

Hindsight is 20/20. Whine all you want, but they made the right move getting rid of him. You can't predict injuries.

So what you are saying is that no one saw that Wells is not all that durable? I thought it was a bad move then and still think it's a bad move. Yes we couldn't predict Williams' injury, however, if anyone here didn't see Beanie missing time at some point is delusional.

Ok, so if Beanie missed a game, we'd have Williams/LSH in a perfect world. Unfortunately, they are both hurt. You thought it was possible all 3 would be injured at the same point? Please.

I can't believe you and some others still can't let Hightower go.

Hightower was not going to stick around here as the 3rd string running back... we had horrible luck losing Williams to injury, but those things happen in the NFL.

So what you had an up and coming rookie that looks hugely promising and that made THT expendable no matter how much you like to think otherwise. **** happens man.

Cept it's happened every single yr. to Wells in pro's as well as college. I think that's the point NJ wants to convey. Dude is not durable, and LSH is nothing more than a 3rd down change of pace guy. Other kids a rook. No matter how promising he looked, he's a rook.

No way to predict injuries. Suck it up and get a win today and we are fine.

So rookies at RB are the one position where they tend to excel. Thats just a fact. he was expected to carry some of the load. Hes gone now due to unforeseen injury. If we had kept all three and Williams wasnt hurt we would be crying about why we didnt get rid of timmy. Hindsight is bogus.

BS. You can't predict injuries... with BEANIE WELLS? That's ridiculous man. At a position where players take the most beating, depth is key. That was the ONE position we actually had depth, we were nowhere near the salary cap and gutted the position anyway.

made no sense then, makes no sense now. 9 million under the cap, you have a RB who's got a litany of injury concerns throughout his career and a rookie... who was injured most of last year.

Predicting injuries has to do with Williams not Wells. You figured he would get banged up and the team could rely on Williams to cover. NOPE!

it doesn't take Time travel to know that Beanie's eventually going to be hurt. he's been chronically injured his ENTIRE CAREER.

sorry guys... that trade... with a history of injury prone running backs... and no reason to shed salary made no sense.

this is ridiculous shane. you depended on TWO running backs with injury histories... while you had nothing pushing you to make a trade. **** happens... that's EXACTLY what's going to happen when you don't plan for success.

Everyone was clamoring to trade THT.. Mainly due to fumbles.. but there just isnt room for 3 TB's.. Just isnt regardless of your luxury of hindsight.

Really? I dont recall a rash of posts about everyone being sooo worried about Beanie BECAUSE we had Williams.

FORESIGHT.

And why isn't there room for 3 RBs? The team was nowhere near the cap and it is has 4 RBs right now. I mean... try to make SOME sense here Shane.
