Yeah, this doesn't change much for me. A 3rd flip flop is hard to take seriously. His list of destinations he was willing to play for speaks louder than anything else, he was going to chase big money in a big market.

I agree. It doesn't jibe with the events as they unfolded.

Why should the Suns gamble on Dragic changing his mind again if true?

Perhaps the trade with the Heat was already negotiated or in the process of being negotiated.

Dragic made it very clear he had a wishlist of places to go, and he likely figured, if traded... that could muddy his future. So he gives a promise to re-sign with hopes they don't trade him to some random team he dislikes... so that he can control his own fate on which team he goes to.

He got there anyways, and we got some picks back. No hate.

Regardless of Dragon and the other (re)negotiations past we have to improve our reputation and establish a bit of trust with the millennials. Phoenix used to be a popular destination for players. Hope McD and Sarver's newest puppets keeps this in mind. We can't promise them the world and pretend we never did some months after.

We signed IT for cheap, we almost signed LMA, we signed Eric Gordon at the time.

I'd say our reputation is fine, we signed a few big name free agents. Who did the Lakers sign in the last 10 years?
