Gortat To SA?

Wonder what it would take to get Klay Thompson from GS now that they have signed Iggy?

Gortat and a Morris, Marshall, Frye, etc. They could use a healthy center.

That team is competing right now. They need to tweak a little.

I would not trade Thompson for the entire Phoenix Suns roster. I cannot imagine that Golden state would trade him for Gortat and a couple of scrubs.

Really? Are you exaggerating about the whole roster? Wow. I didn't think he was that good. If he is, why did they get Iggy? Or is Iggy going to replace Barnes?

Well, it might be a bit of exaggeration, but the point still stands. Thompson is one of the best SGs in the league, while the Suns' roster consists of a slightly above average point guard, average center, average PF, promising young combo guard and a bunch of scrubs.

I am not sure who is out of the starting lineup now. I would guess that Barnes is going to be moving to the bench. I can see them going small with Curry/ Thompson/ Iggy/ Barnes/ Lee against smaller teams though.

They do need a backup point guard, and could use a PF like Scola to back up their big guys.

I'm a Klay Thompson fan, I'd love to have him. I said I'd trade the whole roster but in truth, I was really thinking of the roster we had not the one we'll have. IOW, I'd give up everybody left on this team from last season. I want to see what our draft picks and Bledsoe can do before shipping them off for one player.
