Add in a Marion for Durant trade scenario and Durant could just stand in the corner and bomb three's all day

NO ONE IS TRADING DURANT!

Why are you getting so worked up? I was being facetious.

I figure Hill will stay in the East—where he has always played—for more money. The Durant comment was an extension of the fact that I think signing Hill would be unlikely and that I'm getting ahead of myself by discussing its ramifications. I have never made a post about the Suns being able to trade for Durant in the past. This post where I quoted you—with the proper quote feature ;)—should indicate that I didn't think Durant is tradeable. Okay?

LOL. you must be pretty silent in your disagreements because I don't think we have ever really had any interaction (I left you guys wide open on that one) on this board. Anyway, I am Kevin and don't be so silent in your disagreements from here on out. I am a big boy I can take the criticism. :)

he would be a great fit, I think alot of suns fans thought that Jalen was as good as hill, but Hill is a legit baller.

That would be a good thing for Phoenix.

For a veteran like Hill, you don't need a player to be your first choice. Off the bench, if he is healthy, he provides great bench scoring.

To be more precise, great decision making off the bench.

He won't come off the bench, but he will be a good community guy, good guy in the locker room, and good in practice. I would be happy as a clam if he decided to come here.

I haven't seen Hill enough to know how his defense is. From an offensive standpoint, he's clearly not a three point shooter but is a slasher who averaged 14.4 ppg on 51.8% shooting who averaged 15 ppg and 50% in the playoffs. As for his defense, I'm guessing it was decent. He averaged 30.9 minutes a game on a team that held opponents to 44.2% shooting.

For better or worse, the Suns rotation was only partly a result of D'Antoni's preference to give his best players the minutes. The truth is that his deep bench just weren't productive when given a chance to play.
