My first trip to AZ. Amazing. Us against the Bears in 98. My girlfriend at the time and I went to a sports bar for breakfast, and a group of Cards fans were at the adjacent table. After I explained my story I bought the whole table a round, just because it was the first time I EVER was in the vicinity of one other Cardinal fan, let alone a whole table. (It probably was one of you guys! ) Man, I almost shed a tear walking up to Sun Devil!

I cant pick a moment -- but here goes:

this past saturday my 9 year old, totally unprompted, asks over lunch: who do you think will score the first touchdown for the Cards tonight?

Q is his favorite player, so I answered: "I say Anquan"

His response: "Yeah maybe -- I say Marcell Shipp, because Edge wont play much, and I think they want to really run the ball."

I sat there in silence for a moment, stunned at my son's grasp of things. I knew right then I have a hardcore on my hands.

I started watching football in 89. Since then the cowboys have pretty much owned the skins it seems like. No reason for me to hate them as much as they hate us. I do remember that whipping the boys took 2 years ago. That did make my blood boil watching redskins fans mock the cowboys.
