I am about to throw up all my Panda Express if I have to listen to Greg gush about the freaking Lakers anymore tonight.

Turned on NBA Coast-to-Coast...and it's all about how the Lakers will win the championship, how ALL the Western Conference coaches all said they fear the Lakers and no one else...

I mean, what the heck is this guy on?

He was on the lakers nuts last year too, before the season saying the suns roster (w/o amare) was no better than the lakers roster, and they would win the pacific.

Then at the end of the year, when the suns are way ahead of the lakers in the pacific, he's heavily critcizing nash as mvp over kobe, it's a joke. Not to mention how he constantly flips and slops on his opinions. And a bigger joke is that no one calls him on his b.s. Like barkley's opinions or not, he's always consistent.

Remember two years ago when Anthony was saying all year that Nash was not the MVP and at the end of the season he was kissing Steve's a$$.

You missed it earlier where they were all discussing the Suns chances to win the title and he was so down on the Suns. Said they had no chance because other teams can prepare more for the Suns than in the regular season. Only Legler said he could see the Suns in the finals.

Barry hated on them too. Said they have no interior.

Then at the end of that segment, the other host (the one that never played) said to Anthony after Greg's analysis, something like, "Why does it seem like backhanded compliments with you?" Greg Anthony looked stunned and pissed and they cut away.

Him and Barkley are in the hate the Suns no matter what club.

Barry and Anthony both implied that the Suns would have trouble scoring in the playoffs despite shooting around 50% the past 2 years in the WCF missing starters.

Barry said the Suns don't have versitile players needed to score in the playoffs.

I have not watched any single Laker game this season and I have no idea how they won so many games.

I do know that their schedule is kinda light and T-MAC did not play tonight. I am still waiting Laker to calm down a bit.

You got it. Greg Anthony was and still is a punk. His views regarding the Suns are null and void in my book.

He attacked KJ from behind, btw, after running off the bench. Total punk move. That Knicks team was such a bunch of posers.

I was at that game when he attacked KJ. Lets remember that Celtics coach Doc Rivers ran across the court chasing him after KJ threw a great body block.
Anthony threw the ultimate cheap shop. I thought a full fledged brawl was goign to break out.

I watched it too and I completely laughed. When it was Barry or Bucher rebutted and stated why he thought that they weren't going to win the championship (6th or 7th seed, would likely face the Spurs or Mavs in R1) and no playoff experience outside of Kobe, he pretty much bit his tongue.

He must not know that the Lakers have played 15 of 20 at home. Which means that they have 15 more road games than home this year, they are taking care of business at home, but don't expect them to play well on the road this year.

Poor Anthony, I almost feel sorry for him.

I don't understand that "built for the regular season" thing. The Suns have gone to the Western Conference finals two years in a row and might have gone to the finals one of those years had they stayed healthy. If you can win 2 series in the playoffs and go to the conferences finals, how are you not built for the playoffs?

The Spurs last year were clearly not built for the playoffs because they couldn't make it to the conference finals.

^Its because people keep saying ad naseum and then people start to believe its true. Do you really think Greg Anthony is a particularly smart person? Probably not, thus when he hears other people say stupid cliche's like that, he just parrots it.

D'Antoni laughs at that junk all the time, he knows its not true. Give the Suns a healthy KT, Bell and Amare last year and they tear Dallas AND Miami apart. It took Dallas 6 games to beat a portion of the Suns starting 5.
