Should we give it to you? It indeed IS Rio Bravo, and my favorite Western of all time. It's John Chance (John Wayne) talking to his drunk deputy, Dude (Dean Martin).

Yeah, I just looked it up to make sure. As I said, I knew the scene and that it was the Duke talking to Dean. And yes, I'm giving it to me. I just have a mental block about those two movies as they are so much alike.

Yes sir,you were right. And Rio Bravo was my favorite of the two. I also liked the quote from Chance about Colorado: "I'd say he's so good, he doesn't feel he has to prove it".

Next quote:

"Look! I have one job on this lousy ship, it's stupid but I'm gonna do it! Okay?"

It seems like something I should know but I've let it run around in my head for a couple of hours and I've got nothing. Time to google.

I think you stumped the panel Brian but you can try a few hints if you think someone is on the verge of recognition.

Chaplin should be able to get this one, IMHO. Clarence says it to Alabama. :)

I'd have gotten it from that too but the quote just feels like a line I've heard in hundreds of movies so it didn't stand out to me at all. Although it wasn't a brand new release, it was one of the movies that came to DVD while it was still in it's infancy so I think just about any of us early-adopter DVD enthusiasts saw it.

Decent movie with some entertaining scenes but the thing that stands out the most was the cast, it was just loaded with familiar faces, several of whom went on to quite a bit of success. But I can't stand Rapaport so this movie had a lot of work to do to overcome his presence (and his annoying voice).

BTW, this was just my way of aiding you in the hint department since I'd already googled it prior to your clue.

To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the movie, so I, like Steve, googled it.

Oh, True Romance. I hadn't Googled it, though I'll agree--of all the quotes in that movie, this one was generalized and vanilla, which is why I didn't get it. I'd have gone with "You killed my pimp? That's so...that's so...that's so romantic!", or "Is today white boy day?". That movie was packed with them.

Okay so, let's see if I can go a little more difficult than I did before, but not too hard.

"The truth is, I talk to God all the time, and, no offense, but He never mentioned you."

Did you know that Hawks and Wolves mate for life?

Ladyhawke.

And to put my love and appreciation for poetry on display, I'd point to a line in this movie: "No mouse today, he's run away. To ease the pain, he's down the drain" When it comes to poetry, that's as deep as I can go. Well, it's either there or I'm off to limerick territory.

New quote....

Actor 1...We can't do that!

Actor 2...How do you know? You never tried it.

Actor 1... Well, yeah, but I never tried shooting myself in the head neither.

I kept thinking it would come to me but I finally gave up and googled it. Boy was I barking up the wrong tree. Good quote, been a long time since I've watched the movie though.

My favorite movie by that well known actor. I had to google it as well. Didn't remember that line in it.

The answer to the movie quote is The African Queen.

Here's another one, hopefully easier than the last.

Steven won't get it because it's on his list of popular movies he hasn't seen...

New quote..

YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT PAIN IS!!

Well, that almost gives it away. I'm going to guess it's from There's Something About Mary, spoken right after that infamous bathroom sequence.
