Wow, I was thinking Lambs, but now I don't know for sure.
Google says you're right.

This should be an easy one: "See, women need a reason for having sex, men just need a place."
Here is a softball:
"Look, I'm just a biochemist. Most of the time, I work in a little glass jar and lead a very uneventful life. I drive a Volvo, a beige one. But what I'm dealing with here is one of the most deadly substances the earth has ever known, so what say you cut me some FRIGGIN' SLACK?"
Well gosh, kind of a lot has happened since then! The Rock.
Bull DurhamI guess I'm up, so here goes"
"Don't you dare strike that brave, unbalanced woman."
Had to google it, still have no idea what movie that is, never even heard of it. Guess I need to get out more.
I think it might be What's Up Doc? The second clue and the "screwball comedy" helped.
Ali McgrawLove means never having to say you're sorry (a line from Love Story that she teases Ryan O'Neal with at the end of this movie). I'm not really a Streisand fan but I love this movie. And you're up.

Yeah, she says the line first in Love Story and then O'Neal closes out the movie with that same line when his dad tells him he's sorry she died. And then Barbra throws it back at O'Neal at the end of What's Up Doc. He replies "that's the dumbest thing I ever heard". It's funny, but I guess you had to be there.
I was there. I thought both movies were overrated.
Here it goes: "Thank God, I'm glad I weren't on fire - I would've burned to death before you got one button undone".

But I'm surprised you thought What's Up Doc was overrated, mostly because I didn't think it was ever rated all that high.
Before Streisand and O'Neal made What's Up Doc they had a headlines-making (in L.A. at least) affair. O'Neil was still married to Leigh Taylor young....it was HUGE gossip. When WUD came out there was talk about their chemistry together on-screen. I didn't see it.
I add City Slickers to that list.My wife used to be a Barbra fan but What's Up Doc never worked for her although I watched it because of her in the first place. At the time it came out, I couldn't stand her but the movie has since become one of my favorite feel good watches.
I love a lot of movies but there's only a handful that I turn to when I'm feeling a little down or a little stressed. That short list of mood-improving movies consists of What's Up Doc, Dirty Dancing, Tombstone, Casablanca, Smokey & the Bandit, Seems Like Old Times and Leap of Faith. Not all of them are classics obviously and they're not all even on my top 100 list but they just make me feel better.
Not sure if anyone is still playing or if it has become the highjack thread.Another quote: I'll see you in a year or two if I don't get shot.
This film was released in 1971. The film gained eight Academy Awards nominations, including Best Director, and won two statues, in the supporting acting categories.
