This is a repeat too, isn't it? Or did African Queen make it to the Quote thread. Regardless, love the movie and love repeats.

It might be. I missed a month while I was in the Oregon wilderness. I just picked this one because it is from my birth year. But you are right and you are up sir.

I put a quote from the African Queen in the other thread...

Your current screenshot...

Is that the back of James Dean's head in the car? Rebel Without a Cause??

I thought MrYeah was correct. He was not. I had to google it but good choice Steven. :)

As you now know, the back of that head that MYB thought was James Dean is actually an even more famous actor. One who also died far too young, although he outlived Dean by two and a half decades.

I thought that was someone like Billy Bob Thornton but when I enlarged it I realized it's a young-ish Kenny Rogers. Unfortunately I don't really know many movies with him. It's clearly not one of the 4 billion Gambler movies he did so I think it's the one where he was a race car driver but all I can think of is Stroker Ace and I know that's Burt. So I'm stumped.

So I "cheated" and went through Kenny Roger's movie list on IMDB and figured out what the movie is. It's the one I described but I was way off on the title. Truth be told, I don't even remember hearing that name before (as a movie title). I don't like your chances Chap of getting a correct answer.

Me neither, but I'll give it a few more hours before posting another screenshot.

I have what I think is a good a hint in mind but I have no idea if anyone would actually go in the right direction.

The title of the movie is Joe's last name.

So the movie is from a little 80s diddy called Six Pack. Was a favorite when I was a kid. Here's another from when I was a kid, and I loved. However, I tried watching it again as an adult and couldn't make through 10 minutes...

Well, I was an adult when I first saw it and I didn't care for the movie either. We already knew Kristy from Apple's Way but she'd been in a low budget romantic drama (Just the Way You Are) around the same time that my wife really liked. That led to us renting The Pirate Movie. I haven't tried re-watching it but we did re-watch "Just the Way You Are" about 10 years ago and while it didn't hold up very well either, we were surprised to discover that a young Tim Daly was in it.

Geez, didn't think it was that easy. Oh well, you're up.

Really? No one recognizes this shot? Okay, some hints. There were at least 4 sequels (sort of sequels, anyway) although unlike the original, none of them were written by David E Kelley. And the sequels usually run on the SyFy channel.
