If the Cards do hire him maybe they will get lucky and he will be one of those guys that does really well in his second stint as HC. That being said I still don't want this to happen.

I saw on twitter that his agent said "no interview."

His agent lied he is in for his interview today, the cardinals have gone at great lengths to try and keep this a secret even though everyone knows they want him.

Some Steeler fan posted in PFT, "Haley to AZ as HC, Whisenhunt to Pittsburgh as OC." :D

This... If Warner is the reason for our Superbowl run that made Whiz look better, then he's DEFINITELY the reason for Haley's success here

This is a bad idea...Horton should be HC...I get the feeling Cards are just hoping to hold on to Horton for DC and would be a very short term gain IMO, for Horton will be a HC withing the next 1 to 2 seasons. Hmmmm....

Based on...what?

I follow the Cardinal organization and don't know how the Bidwills and Keim feel about Haley other than the CW thrown out there by the local broadcast media (who have been known in the past to sometimes get it wrong).

I, for one, would be quite happy if Haley was named Head Coach. Love his passion.

Funny you will get blasted for saying that but that is exactly why everyone was all over Hortons jock after his interview and wanting him to be the HC. They loved his passion.

To be honest I dont care about class if this team is winning and he can turn around the offense. I want to win games not say we lost in a classy way.

Just the fact that we haven't seen Haley - in Pittsburgh - yesterday or today and the Cardinals are denying comment on the story- tells you all you need to know. Where there is smoke there is fire....

Go Cardinals!

To be fair, Coughlin was an ass before he admittedly started loosening up before the 2007 season (SB). I've heard from a few places that Haley has learned from his first experience as an HC and may have mellowed out. Not saying it has or will happen, but I believe in second chances. And if he has learned his lesson, we'd be getting a damn good coach.

To recap: Steelers assistants say Haley is interviewing in Ariz. His agent Jerome Stanley says "no interview." No comment from #Cards

From Jerome Stanley, Todd Haley's agent: "The report is wrong. I stand by my statement. Period. You can report that!" Saying no interview

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet
This is unreal. RT @EdBouchette #Steelers President Art Rooney confirms that Haley is interviewing for #Cardinals job.

It sounds like nobody knows what's really going on here.

"Where there is smoke there is fire"

Funny thing is I remember seeing that same line last week when there were rumors about Reid coming to the Cards.
