I think it may be a bit more complicated than Haley saying "yes" or "no."

Bruce Arians (permanently or temporarily "retired") may be in the mix as might former Raider HC Hue Jackson.

Wiz, Rod and Michael may have a few options to chew on.

Note - Every time I see Jackson's first name spelled "Hue", I wonder if it should be pronounced (the conventional "Hugh") or after the Vietnam city, "Hway?"

Right now, I'd like the Colts to fire a few of the remaining "O" staff to be part of the mix. Who knows what's down the road? ;)

I think they all upgrade Mike Miller at OC, How to step over that elephant in the room without hurting Whiz's one feeling he has left, I don't know.

No other team would hire Mike Miller as OC, all the QB coach prospects would be considered, just saying.

Hue Jackson, Todd Haley. Two NFL head coaches. You wonder why they would want to step down to QB coach...unless there was going to be a possible hall of fame QB to coach.

Since we're dreaming, perhaps Payton will retire and become....our next QB coach:D

Personally, I think Whiz wants Haley. I think Whiz is more than aware of the relationship between Fitz and Haley (and how much better it made Fitz) and knows Haley can build others like that. It may be a matter convincing Haley they can make it work again. If Haley says, "Yes", Whiz goes to Michael and says, "Do whatever it takes to make it happen."

Just my guess and awesome psychic powers.

My .02 option...

Haley comes back as QB coach for a year to learn/work with/understand whoever the QB will be to assess how an offense could be tailored for said QB.

Miller gets a year to show he can put some scoring back on the board and if he can't, gets axed after next season. Haley then moves to OC after having a year studying the QB to start scheming for.

I am not convinced any coach can make Kolb or Skelton Playoff quality

Mort reported tonight on NFL 32 Haley's will not be hired again on the Cards staff...believes Bruce Arians will be added.

Oh my, this will just add to the speculation of Manning to the Big Red since he used to be his QB coach in Indy. ;)

well

I'm not convinced they are not playoff quality now, screwed up by a bad coaching staff and front office. Just what are Graves, Whiz and Mike Miller good at?

Don't want Haley as I think he'll only be here a year and then move on.

Haley may, in fact, be in need of a job. There is a report that KC claims they fired him for cause and are refusing to honour the remainder of his contract.

Litigation to be expected.

Mike Tomlin has been making calls gathering info on Todd Haley. Could emerge as OC candidate with Steelers

Kolb beat a pretty good Dallas team in his 1 late season game. Skelton has Skills, Actually Josh Mcnown fits Whiz's high pressure on the defense offensive schemes as well as any other.

Yea I think Chris Miller sucked as a QB coach, I never hid that. He can be upgraded very easy, so can Mike Miller, but Grimm is the class of OC's we have on the team, Grimm could make us a top 10 offense overnight. He has no ambition?

Spencer would be one ST coach that could be a HC in the NFL. Have you ever seen Spencers resume? He has no ambition either?
