With how soft Kliff has made the team, half the roster would go into shock or cardiac arrest the first time Harbaugh addressed the team. Kyler would go into hiding.

The problem
Much like those dumb takes on Kyler’s college career not being sufficient for having the nerve to get beaten by Saban’s Alabama, Harbaugh’s only sin at Michigan was not getting over Urban at Ohio State juggernaut.
And yeah it ended bad in SF because he openly mocked Jed York. Would imagine he’d do the same to Bidwill and Keim.

I enjoy the even dumber takes that live in make believe land that Kyler didn’t flame out at Texas A&M before going to a machine like Oklahoma where QBs before and after him were just as successful if not more because of their overwhelming talent disparity in the Big 12.

“Flame out” means transferring to avoid getting coached by a well known alcoholic? And how did Spencer Rattler do at OU?
There’s a lot to be discussed about Kyler’s play for the last 15 games here in Arizona without making up fairy tales about his college career.
Doesn't matter. Last year's win against OSU wiped his slate clean IMO. I've been a fan since the Lloyd Carr era and while I wasn't a huge fan of Harbaugh over the years, starting last year he's really put together some real talent. We were in a vortex of hell there for awhile I couldn't stomach. He apparently needed some time for the fix. We'll see if it lasts.... Fingers crossed.

Like I said… the excuse train came rolling in.
Kyler wasn’t good at A & M when not surrounded by all world talent. All he did at Oklahoma was… exactly what Baker Mayfield did before him and what Hurts did after.
And in the one game where Kyler actually had to go up against All-World Talent, he utterly crapped the bed, helping out his team in a 21-0 hole that they never recovered from.
No matter how much you want to just blow off almost half of his entire college career that IS reality. Kyler wouldn’t have been the first player to play for a bad coach. But as has been the case so far in his career, he’s yet to “transcend” over those circumstances.
Those are just facts Mao. To blow them off as if Texas A & M never existed is just intellectually dishonest.
I mean, do we want to do a deep dive here? You know… one that shows that A&M was 8-5 before Kyler, 8-5 during the year he started and 8-5 the year after? Or do we want to look at the fact that their offense in 2014 averaged 34 ppg, 2016 averaged 35 ppg… and in Kyler’s year where he stated they averaged 28 ppg.
If he was that amazing in college as you keep contending, wouldn’t you think he would make SOME kind of positive impact on the Aggies? His passing stats there are horrific.

Better late than never, friend. He's producing now. Look, if I can give him leeway now after his start at the program. Anyone can. I think a lot of Michigan fans did as well. Michigan football had alot of pain since Lloyd got fired. So this is a welcome relief.

Harbaugh is a much better NFL HC than a college HC. I mentioned his name in another post. He’s exactly what this franchise needs because he’ll hold players accountable. I still believe he’ll be back in the NFL at some point.
He’ll hold players accountable? You really forget how off the rails it went in SF. That’s exactly what he didn’t do

I really wish you guys would stop acting like all of these coaches on the older side are some army drill sergeants that these grown ass men should be afraid of. Arians, Harbaugh, etc, they’re coaching grown men, not no damn high schoolers.

While I agree with you, and while i agree that this generation of players do have to be handled differently, our current Club Med "oh gosh, let's not hurt their poor wittle feewings" approach is garbage. There is a happy medium where players aren't screamed at but are held accountable.

Harbaugh is a strange bird. He would definitely leave Michigan. In fact, he thought the job was his in Minny this past off season and would have taken it.
His tenure at Michigan has been pretty bad overall. Even to the point he took a pay cut at the beginning of last year. The win over OSU did heal some wounds but the Big 10 is awful this year, PSU included, so I think they're pretty much overrated. Barrin some freaky injuries or upsets, OSU and UGA are head and shoulders above everyone else in college this year.
On the topic of him being the Cards HC, I would take him over KK in a minute. The 2 college coaches I would want are Ryan Day and Harbaugh. Mainly because they have previously coached in the NFL.
