Here's the deal, Fiasco. We lost a game (by one point) and you're ready to jump ship.

Your privilege. But I'm not bailing.

The Cardinals could go 6-10 for 50 years and you wouldn't bail. Oh wait they did and you didn't.

Makes you wonder about the workings of the minds of us football Cardinals fan.

Just because your used to mediocirty doesn't mean you should accept it. That should be some philisophical quote....

Cardinals fans as a group might be the dumbest in the NFL.

I'm taking the week off. Get a grip.

Oh, and one more:

Top 5 maybe, but Raider fans definitely take the cake for dumbest fans!

There's a difference. Raider fans are just dumb. We're dumb or masochists or unbelievably loyal or whatever for continuing to follow the Cards and post wait'll next week, month, year while they continually go 6-10.*

*Hey Bucky, didn't you calculate that the Cards had averaged a 6-10 record over some ridiculous amount of years?

There's a reason that threads about possible draftees and free agents draw more attention than those that talk about the current team.

The Cards lost after having an 8 point lead in the 4th quarter. They have had problems holding leads for far too long to ignore it and run around crowing about a moral victory.

Who's crowing about a moral victory? Not this poster.

I'm simply making light of the parasitic nature of this board because of the Grim Reaper posts deeming this season over. BTW, if the Rams lose tomorrow, the entire division would have gone 0-4, making the results of this week null and void for the NFC West.

This loss stinks, but I'm not going to grave dress the situation knowing we are at .500 with 14 games to go in a division that is not that good.

Onward to Seattle.

I agree...while I am disappointed over what I saw as a win getting tossed down the toilet by bad plays, penalties, and just overall stupid mistakes.....I did in fact see a team that SHOULD have won.....instead of seeing a team that never had a chance.
There is no moral victory...more a moral defeat. But we all knew there would be growing pains this season........ now I want to see our staff earn their paychecks, get it figured out, and have the team ready to play on the opening kick off.
Progress, obvious learning, adjustments to players strengths, more discipline from the players.... I want to see them getting better every week.

Interesting I haven't seen any posts saying the season's over. If there are I missed them.

A lot of posts by people who are getting tired of seeing the same mistakes by the Cardinals. Or that they're concerned that we've allowed 922 yards in two games. Or that the Defense continues to struggle holding leads a problem that dates back to the 2009 season. That hiring former Steeler coaches is a mistake. Or they think the Cards should run the ball more. Or that Levi Brown or the Offensive line are terrible. Things like that.

I don't think the season is over and fully expect this team to go 8-8 at least. That said I do not think Whisenhunt is a good coach. This team/staff continually makes the same mistakes, loses good players and then replaces them with inferior talent and plays stupid head games with rookies, particularly high draft picks. This staff has a very hard time maximizing talent. I think Whisenhunt is vastly overrated by some on this board and especially in the national media. We will see where this season goes, but another season of anything less than 8-8 should be unacceptable by all of us.

This I don't see at all. This board flays him alive when we lose, and gives credit to players when we win. Nationally, he's as off-the-radar as an NFL coach can be.

That said, 8-8 would be the bare minimum to say we had an "okay" season.

Sadomasochists!

no one worse than I. I flew across the country this morning, missed the game, told everyone I knew but ONE person not to text me... they of course did, yet I STILL got off the plane, got in my car and drove 40 miles to go watch what i knew was a heart-breaking loss with Ouchie who DVR'd the game.

And thank god I DID know the score... otherwise i'd probably be furious right now.

as is... it's a loss and we gotta put it behind us and go kick the crap out of that pathetic Seattle team.

That being said... when the heck did the Skins become "resurgent"? just because they beat a completely defeated G-men squad who sucked last year and beat us? Me thinks they need to beat someone with some kind of pedigree before we crown that motley crew we played today as "resurgent".

Agree and is only a representation of the numerous Chicken Little posts lingering throughout this board right now.

We lost. By 1 point on the road against a resurgent Redskins team.

This Veruca Salt whiny BS after losses is absurd.

Early West to East games are not to be taken likely. I was disappointed but was also happy with most of what I saw.

not yet... but he keeps chipping away at it.

the play calling has just been dumbfounding so far. it actually looks like we can ACTUALLY run the ball for the first time in... well... ever and yet we're still winging the ball around with the worst pass protecting O-line I've ever seen.

also, the decision not to do anything at the OT/OLB positions... or the CB/S position after the injuries we suffered are head scratchers to be sure.

he's still got the rest of the year from me though.

I didn't vote in the poll but it is an interesting discussion.
I am a Whis fan, but that isn't to say i can't find thigns I disagree with.

One is his unfailing loyalty to ex Steelers. Loyalty is a good thing , of course, but when it is seemingly so blinkered.

It started with Grimm, McFadden and now Porter who anyone can see is past it, and is in fact now slowing the progress of Schofield.

The loyalty to Grimm is really the thing that does it for me. I just can't see what he has done for the Cards.
If i am wrong ,i'm sorry but continuity is meant to be important for an Oline, but what has this guy done in how many years to improve ours? Nothing. It is still as bad as it has been for ages.
The interior line is actually pretty good I think but it has had a lot of tinkering but still manages to perform OK which leads me to believe the coaching they had from previous teams is what carries them through.
The tackles are well...grim.

Sometimes I need my coach to be ruthless and make difficult decisions.
I jsut wish Whis would take off the blinkers a bit.

Lets start talking replacements.
Bill Cowher anyone?

So you would replace pass-pass-pass with run-run-run? I personally don't think Cowher is as good a coach as everyone thinks he is and was a product of amazing ownership. He would not be fit to coach in todays NFL where the quarterback rules all.

This is really one of the most poorly written polls I have seen.

This poll is a Fiasco.
