Have we changed or upgraded our team at all yet?

That doesn't make sense. Both teams got new Head Coaches. Both teams had SB caliber rosters. 4 years later the Cards are 5-11 and one of the worst teams in the NFL and the Steelers are 12-4 and back in the Super Bowl with the same head coaches.

.
you are correct. I think it was more of a poor choice of words from BRR though. The Steelers won the SB just one or two years before Tomlin stepped in, they weren't just a SB caliber team, they were a SB winning team. Cardinals, lol, well we know that wasn't the case. I do agree that the roster was LOADED with talent. But the Steelers team got a ring just then. The mentality is a big part of the game, Tomlin and his team knew they could win, they just did. Whiz's team was the butt of jokes in the NFL, nobody thought they'd go to the SB, "worst team to ever make the playoffs" the year that they did go to the SB

well

Haley ran Edge in the 08 playoff wins- Haley called 10 runs and lost the SB. The turnovers were the results of a dynamic rested defense! the big plays were all play action as a result of productive run plays.

Whiz ran Beanie to a 3 score lead in the 09 playoff win- We ran it less than 10 times in the Saints loss- look at wins -look at losses -this theme reamains the same, as Lombardi and everybody else in the history of earth defined as fundementally sound football.

Mike Miller ran the ball more with a broken Beanie- Skelton and Kolb got much better. AND SO DID HORTON"S DEFENSE! these 3 playcallers allergic to rushing and addicted to passing are the problem.

The Steelers ran the ball in our SB - rested their defense- just like Chuck Knoll did in the 70's. It aint know great mystery it is the one constant in the NFL-forever.

The Joke was on Whiz and us- HE is too weak to commit to the run like we hired him too do. Kurt did not want to run- but He did NEED to run the ball to finish his last year( retired)- thats on coach.

Sometimes the reason we don't run more often is because our running plays aren't working (so we turn to Plan B). At other times, we're able to effectively run the ball early in games, so we do it more often.

Sometimes our inability to run the ball is because the defense is stacked up vs. the run. Sometimes we fall behind early and don't run to preserve clock time.

It's not always because "Wiz doesn't want to run." Sometimes other factors come into play.

I have seen so many times where Whiz tries to run the ball a few times with no success and seems to give up on it quickly. Running takes time. You need to wear the other team out a bit in a lot of cases. Whiz just doesn't commit to it fully, and I feel that give the OLmen a lot of negative feedback. How many times have we also looked good running the ball in the first half, and then totally abandon it in the second half like Whiz totally forgot about it.

I have seen no commitment whatsoever from Whiz to truly run the ball or build a team based on the run. If he won't or doesn't know how, then we need a new coach. It is that simple. No excuses, just get it done! If DeCastro is available at 13 and we don't take him, if we have a disappointing season again relying mostly on our QBs, then someone needs to go, the coach and the front office personnel.

So....you want to fire a HC who's taken his team to the playoffs twice and Super Bowl once if he won't build (to your satisfaction) "a team based on the run.

I'm not a strong advocate of firing HC's for so limited a reason. Let me ask you this: Name a run-oriented coach out there who will have better W & L results than Wiz?

It's easy to shout: "Fire the coach!" but what's your alternative?
