Have you guys noticed that Levi Brown is not very good at football?

The only position this franchise has ever really been able to get right is WR. It's been the strength of the team every single year for as long as I can remember (barring the Kasper-McAddley era. Even our UDFA WRs often go on to play for a while if we cut them (see Stephen Williams in SEA.)

Dear football gods... I'll trade a the next couple of good WRs, who seem to just fall off the bus into our laps, for a respectable LT. Note, "respectable", not "great". Is that too much to ask?

That has to be the strangest thing in the history of the NFL. A franchise that has decades of failed personnel decisions somehow manages to come up with great Wide Receivers. I've been following that for 4 decades and still can't figure out how they can strike out on every other position and constantly hit HRs with WR.

Heck they had so many outstanding WRS they could afford to let the franchise leader in single season receiving yards and later the 2003 NFL rookie of the year go play somewhere el ........ oh wait never mind. :p

Enough of this Levi bashing. This guy works his butt off for us fans and Cardinals in general. Why aren't you getting behind this guy and supporting him, and motivating him to do better? He isn't an all pro, and there are going to be some matchups that are just terrible for any player. He plays the toughest position most visual position next to the QB, and is up against a team's best rusher each week. Some weeks he will be fine, others he will be overmatched and it is up to the coaches to know that and give him help. Sunday he was getting killed by his matchup. He is part of the team and it is a team sport. He will need help some weeks, other weeks he will dominate his man.

He isn't as bad as so many of you make out. He is a Cardinal and should be shown more respect by some of you. He will have some tough days and coach should know and foresee that and design to protection accordingly. He isn't lazy, I'm sure he is giving his all, and when up against these all pro rushers, of course he will have it rough. These guys are all pros for a reason.

He probably is giving his all once the game starts but I'm not convinced he's giving his all when it comes to learning and preparing. Anyway, these guys don't just work their butt off because they love their fans, they love their money more. People can cheer and boo, bitch and praise as they choose.

if he really worked his butt off off the field, why has he NEVER gotten better? and I've seen him give up on plays and just watch players after they've gotten around him WAYYYYYYY too many times to count for me to ever say he works his butt off on the field.

I have never seen Levi dominate his man. This hasn't and likely will never happen.

He isn't as bad as so many of you make out.

in approximately 8 quarters of football this season, he's given up 7 sacks, had three false starts and three holding penalties. That isn't bad. That is ATROCIOUS.

no one is just given respect. respect is earned and Levi's never done that.

He will have some tough days and coach should know and foresee that and design to protection accordingly. He isn't lazy,

he came into camp out of shape and gives up on plays and has never gotten one inch better then when he got into the league. if those aren't signs of laziness, I don't know what are.

Robert Quinn is nowhere near an All-Pro. Hasn't even been on a Pro-Bowl in his first two years and has 10 sacks in two years against the rest of league while feasting on Levi Brown and Anthony Batiste to the tune of 8 sacks.

No worries. Mr. Brown will go on to have a successful career with the Cowboys as a pro bowl guard after we cut him loose and eat a ton of cap space.

Don't worry. He will play like a mauler the last 5-6 games of the season, when the Cards are already eliminated from the playoffs, giving us hope that he is "much improved" going into next season.

Of course, he will regress horribly again, but not before we give him a big contract extension.

They just had Quinn on Sirius NFL radio and asked him about that last sack--he said he knew it was pass because Levi has a "tell".

Normally I'd think it was just talk, but Quinn has owned Levi.
