How do you like your crow? BBQ or fried. I say Gabbert wins this game and does well.
He's Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde. He either plays good, or he's atrocious. Due to the fact that he often makes mistakes with shaky O-Line play...I wouldn't be overly confident in his success tomorrow...unfortunately.

What’s the standard? I think the defense could win this game by himself. No one has seen Gabbert in this offense. I’ll be impressed if he completes 63%+ of his passes for 6.8+ YPA and throws 2 TDS and 0 picks.

If Peterson rushes for 110 yards, the defense gets three turnovers, we win 17-6 and, Gabbert rushes for two first downs, we’ll see when we play a real team.

I can see Gabbert throwing for two touchdowns and getting better as the game goes on. I think he takes the starting job for the rest of the year. I just wish he had some receivers other than Fitz that could catch the ball. We really need to get some good receivers on this team.

He's played for garbage teams, and always had to learn a new system.

I'm hoping like hell he goes off, and can be our QBOTF.... If he fails miserably....
See above^^^

It will still be true, and I feel bad that he never had a fighting chance.

We’re really not being fair to the kid. We have maybe the worst Oline & worst WR group in football. Houston has injury issues of their own, but a 1:00 road game doesn’t bode well for us or for Gabbert. I’m sure that AP will be leaned on heavily & BA isn’t going to let Gabbert run this offense in its entirety. If AP can’t find holes, Texans will pin back their ears against a garbage OLine.

That's always been his kryptonite! The ability to handle the blitz & make them pay is what separates the great QBs from the wannabes.

He’s looked very good today! He’s thrown a few passes that CP is no longer capable of throwing.

Never ever bump a thread like this at halftime. Two 2nd half picks guaranteed.
Not really a bump though. This thread was active today before the game started.

Hopefully the entire season ends the fallacy that we had a strong WR core coming into this season.

That was probably the funniest thing I’ve read on this board all year.

45k posts and I’m still waiting for one that tells me you can tell the difference between a football and a hockey puck.

I’m not in the mood for educating you again, cheese

Give me a break you wouldn’t be saying shot if BA didn’t crap the bed! BG played great until late when our ****** receiving group couldn’t catch a cold. Then BA went full ****** mode on offense. Geesh
Blaine has about six years of putrid play that can’t be undone in three quarters of play. Even if he finished with 5 TDS and the W, id still have concerns

And they would be warranted... But at least we'd still have hope... I still do.
I think Gabbert looked pretty damn good.... I'm still trying to figure out how Arian's offense has been described as difficult to learn.... I don't think he's called more than 12 different plays this year.
