How could the Cardinal front office be so totally clueless as to sign this clown in the first place?

Exactly why they should be made to cut him and HAVE to pay him. The Cards have no one to blame but themselves for this QB cluster...

On a side note, did anyone else the baby move by Alex Smith? When the camera was on him, he puts his helmet up to block the picture. He had to know they were talking about the team winning without him and decided to cover his face. What's with these guys? It's not nearly as bad as what DA did but no wonder these temas are floundering with the immaturity they have at the QB position.

He was listening to the play calls through the helmet. You can see backup QB's doing that on the sideline in every game that's on tv if they show it at the right time.

Smith is terrible but he wasn't hiding, he had the helmet up to his ear.

I gotta be honest I just don't like a player yukking it up in such a crappy performance as that. Shawn Springs said on ESPN it's a private thing, he doesn't have to explain it, and it should stay within the team, but I just can't imagine a scenario where it makes sense for the 2 of them to be laughing.

I know people giggle at funerals because they're uncomfortable and don't know what to say, a nervous giggle if you will. But this is a football game where your opponent is embarassing you, openly taunting you(and taking late hits), where you are being completely destroyed, and where you personally have played horrible. I just don't buy that Deuce said sometimes you gotta laugh and that made DA smile, I just don't think either guy cares enough and it's a symptom.

Some guys just aren't coachable and those are the guys who in their 6th NFL season are still staring down WR's and snapping the ball on the same count all game so the opponent can just tee off.

I'm absolutely furious about last night and I hope Whiz is too, his team embarassed him. I don't want to see DA or Deuce in the game next week.

Listening to Colin Cowherd. He's comparing this with Green's meltdown and talking about "the reporter" (Cowherd obviouly didn't bother to get a name) who asked the questions. "That's one hostile [media] room." He's also defending D.A. and using the laugh-at-a-funeral anology. Also said both DA and the reporter made a mistake. (What? "The reporter" isn't supposed to ask questions? What?)

That's about as much as I can take of him.

this... and more like it is what makes ASFN amazing. It's not the great wins (few and far between) it's the HORRENDOUS moments and the hilarity that comes from them, on the field, in the locker room and on this board that makes this place so addictive.

go on folks. entertain me for a couple hours. it's great.

yup - its the horrible moments that made me love this board in the first place

like that 9-6 loss in Atlanta some years back

LOL!

From a user on Yahoo! page discussing DA's outburst:

"One reporter told ESPN.com that Anderson went back to the locker room, kicked an unnamed inanimate object, and departed."
That's a mean thing to say about Adrian Wilson, man.

can't blame him he's dumb drunk.
this team gave up before the game, rhodes at the game was watching others tackle and keeping his distance every play.
Whiz has lost all leadership, I wouldn't want to play for his dumb az. why don't he cutt matt, or poke Deuce in the media or hire a couple of 33 yo steelers scrubs or something.

but oh no its not my fault its the players not making plays 100 games in a row on every unit.

heart and soul every single week my arse, he cashes a check every single week like 95% of the rest of this garbage team. Whiz needs to go for no other reason than not getting a play caller and sticking with the assclown D-Cord. Really? They did not know Warner was walking and stoic wiz had an hate-hate relationship with Matt so DA is the answer? He propped the little engine that can't in Hall like he is the second coming and that dude could not throw an out pattern if his life depended on it. Michael Trustbaby Bidwill needs to clean house. There is a reason why Pittsburgh passed on Wiz & Grimm.... they suck. The best thing to happen is to tank the rest of the year, hope some others win a couple games and secure the 1st pick and pray that Luck comes out, he can bring Harbaugh with him. But then we would have to go through a holdout all the way into week 2.... book it

When Stephen Spach walks between DA/Deuce and the camera, you can see Spach rolling his eyes at the two in disgust as he moves past them. I really don't think this is as innocent as Cowherd and others are trying to make it sound.

Also, isn't DA supposed to look at photos of the INT for a while when he comes off the field? Or at least talk to a coach about it? Has the staff just conceded that DA will never learn from his mistakes?
