That's what he's saying that it's not by design it's just the players giving too much cushion.

Seattle's LG just took out our DT in exactly the same fashion as LD's block. No call. It was the one the announcers were talking about Walter Jones blocking on a big Alexander run.

That's why you throw jump balls to Fitz though. Might have been a bad throw as the announcers are saying right now, never should have thrown it, but you get a penalty.
