The phantom "horse collar" call was worse.....we got over it and won today.
If anyone is to blame, its Aaron "The Chosen One's" foot. Dummy looked like he tried to kick it. Karlos Dansby in the place to be, game set, go back to Wisconsin losers.
Yeah, I bet the refs caused them to give up 51 points too.
Bah - there were no calls on both teams. Of course, a certain breed of Packer fan will complain that they were screwed over by the refs, but in reality, I think that the refs just failed to call penalties on both teams.
As for the face mask on Rodgers, I believe that since he had already fumbled the ball, AZ would have maintained possession, just that it would have been moved back 15 yards from the spot of the foul. In reality, what I think happened is that the second that ball popped loose, all of the ref's eyes watched the ball and no longer watched Rodgers.
First off all Nas, please do not disgrace the name of one of the greatest hiphop artists off all time with your bitching and moaning.
Secondly, Berrys hit was far from cheap and looked more like helmet to clavicle contact to me.
Thirdly, There were two occasions where fitz and woodson ran into eachother due to incidental contact BEFORE the ball was thrown so you have no basis for pass interference.
Fourthly: waaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!
The Berry hit was unnecessary roughness. Look at the first pic above. If it wasn't I dont understand how the Cullen Jenkins penalty was. The first occasion when Woodson and Fitz tangled was legit. Their feet just tangled on Woodson's back pedal. However watch the second closely. Fitz extends the hands and shoves Woodson backwards. Clear pass interference. The ball doesnt have to be out to be called interference. Even if you want to argue that the ball has to be out then the flag should have been thrown for illegal contact against the offense for Fitz extending his arms and shoving the defender.
The reason the Jenkins one was called is because the umpire was right there to see it in plain view...
^Also working on a better pic of the Jenkins penalty. His left arm in the air in that pic rakes across the top of Warner's helmet. That drew the flag.
The thing that DID bother me occurred on the play just before. I'd like to think that Rodgers earned a bit of respect tonight, so when is he going to get the protection of Brady, Manning or Favre?
That's not a complaint in regards to the result of the game. More as a plea for something I feel my QB has earned.

yet Warner got helmetted to helmetted at least 3 times with no call. (cough even though Berry got away with one cough)
