I turned off this game after the Cards’ first possession in the third quarter. According to the Pro Football Reference Win Probability Model, the Rams had a 99% win expectancy the remainder of the game. So, I got to go to bed 25 minutes early.

I guess I’m saying that I’m the real winner here.

D.J. Humphries - I’m starting to ask myself how it would feel to live in a world where D.J. Humphries is an adequate left tackle. His biggest challenge going forward may be maintaining focus and technique when the game goes sideways.

Deone Bucannon - Congrats on the INT. 42 games into his career, Buc has 14 “big plays,” defined as interceptions, forced fumbles, or sacks. He’s playing just well enough to get a regrettable contract extension in two months.

Brittan Golden - Inexplicably became the focal point of the offense for one series, but managed to catch all three of his targets for successful gains and one first down.

Karlos Dansby - The Rams offense was too young and too fast for Dansby. His mind knew what to do and where to go, but his body wasn’t quite able to get there in time, every time. Tough game for one of the better veterans on the D.

James Bettcher - I’m done with this guy. On third and long, he rushes four, including Hasson Reddick who probably needs a year in the weight room if he’s going to stay on the outside. There’s no aggression to this unit.

Patrick Peterson - Paterson put on another clinic in man-to-man coverage yesterday, but the off-the-ball antics showing up his coach and teammates is not leadership.

Other than Molasses Badger, does Peterson really have teammates in the revolving door which is our safties and starting corners opposite of him and he sure the hell does not have a DC... you can only behave for so long when you actually want to win

Yea... PP21... so damn good... However, each time I saw him throw a tantrum, I cringed. We have never seen anything like that from Fitz... from Palmer... I totally get his frustration. But damn Pat, save it for the Locker Room, the meeting room, the practice field...

I liked Gresham's blocking in the last game but this game he had no buffer from his dumb penalties and dropping passes (yeah, some where some tough passes to catch with his QB having to throw sooner than he wished but the guy has the talent and the salary to catch those). He had that one catch in the beginning down the seam, much like the Cowboy game, but then seems to lose his focus the more emotional he gets and becomes a liability to any drive and on any other team a coach would bench him

maybe he is trying to get the message to somebody outside the locker room?? Raising a tiff on "International" TV is sure to get some attention from upper management isnt it?

Very well could be... however, there are better ways to get whatever message he's trying to send, across to whomever his intended target is. What he's doing is not the stuff of effective leadership.

I understand what everyone is saying about Peterson, but I won't criticize him for it. You can only suffer incompetence so much, and when you are part of a team that preaches accountability, the hypocrisy of it is worse. Ball on PP21.

I don't know that much more needs to be said about Bettcher. He coaches in the scared, passive way that shows that he just doesn't want to look too bad. He lets other teams dictate his defense to him which generally put the team in a hole. The best way I can describe him is that he plays chess 5 moves behind rather than ahead.

You watched longer than I did though I did record it because I am curious about some specific players and how they did. It is probably how I will watch the rest of the season. Too many other things that are more important than supporting ineptitude right now.

I agree... but PP21 has never been confused with an effective leader anyway... he shuts his guy down

Uh, Peterson is a captain on the team and needs to act like one. In interviews he is always mentioning that he's a captain and needs to lead yet his actions are the exact opposite.

Yeah plenty of things wrong with this team and Patrick Peterson isn't one of them.

How does anyone here know that he hasn't gone off in the locker room or film room? You can talk to guys so much and if your still seeing a problem you can only take so much around you.

I dont like silent leaders i prefer a player who display his frustration when things goes wrong showing his true love for the franchise
he is having a stellar season, so he cares more about the team then personal score

Nope he's been doing it every game starting in Philly! Almost every TD now he's acting like an asshat!!!

He needs to take his anger out & pop the fudge out a WR or RB instead acting like Peion Sanders tackling the wind.
