Peter knows he aborbs powers right?

So wouldn't he use his blood and give it to Nathan?

Or Claire now knows her blood saved Noah. Nathan's assassination is public knowledge. Wouldn't she just call?

-----

Also why does a shot to the head kill Peter/Adam, yet a shot to the head to Noah doesn't mean the end of him because he got blood from somebody who can regenerate?

Only three people know that Claire's blood can return someone from the dead.

Noah and Bob, and neither of them are bringing back Nathan. And Claire, who may try it since he was her biological father...but also may see what happens when you try to go public.

Again, Peter has no idea what his abilities really are. It's easy for us to say "Well Peter can do everything everyone else can" but in reality he can't. He is an uncut diamond.

I thought this was a pretty good finale, all things considered. There may have been a few things that people with powers might have done differently in these situations, but I don't think those can be considered "plot holes." When you're dealing with fantastical sci-fi (as heroes does), you're going to have SOME problems.

Mike what are the huge plot holes you referred to?

He is specifically refering to Peter's ability to read minds, even though he has never done it and it took Parkman an entire season to become good at it.

I'm trying to remember... Was Parkman in the plaza in the finale of Season 1? I thought he was, but I'm not sure. If he was, wouldn't he have recognized Hiro from the plaza when he appeared at the Paper company? Instead, he asks Nathan, "Who is this guy?"

BTW, did anyone else think Sylar was going to go Popeye on us when he nabbed that can of spinach. I thought he was going to give it a squeeze and shoot some spinach into his mouth sailor-style. yugugugug. toot-toot.

Well...

You are this guy at a Plaza. There is some Japanese kid in the background. There is also this mass murderer fighting a guy. Both are about to blow up. Some hot chick is ripping off street signs. This girl is saying she should shoot someone with a gun. I think the asian kid has a sword. Hey I think he just stabbed the murderer! Oh crap the other guy is about to explode.

It had been a year and Hiro wasn't really the "attention grabber" in that fight. The "Who is this guy" could also mean "Who is this guy who keeps showing up?"

finally caught up and watched the finale. i thought it was pretty good considering they didnt have much time to do the re-write before the strike. definitely was a better finale than season 1.

will definitely look forward to volume/season 3. this show has a ton of potential if the writing is up to par.

and the best thing...nikki is dead!!! hopefully...

Jeph Loeb wrote the finale. Did he do it before the stike? Or, is he non-union (his major source of income coming from comic-book writing)?

That's pretty simplistic and convenient for a show with so many plot holes you can drive a truck through them. I thought Hiro was thrown all the way across the plaza into the side of a building--not exactly something a normal person would forget. :)

I don't think it is simple to ask "Who is this guy?" when he keeps showing up only at the final moment. Parkman's interaction with Hiro was very very short. Nor is it unusual for you to not recognize someone you met only briefly after a year. I doubt you remember everyone you meet.

As far as plot holes, you guys are really nitpicking. Welcome to the world of comic books.

MESA! :thud:
I thought it wrapped up pretty good, aside from the fact that last season everyone was intertwined and this season there were parts that they weren't able to pull together with having to make it a short season.

So sad to see Nathan go. I really really liked his character.

Is anyone ever really dead on this show? They way that clip ended, I'm positive she survived it or will be revived somehow. I couldn't be so lucky that she would be gone.

I think it's funny that you talk about nitpicking when you are trying really hard to explain away the plot holes. Plot holes are plot holes regardless what kind of story it is.

Is it really a "plot hole" for Parkman not to recognize Hiro? How does that affect the plot. If indeed it's a mistake, I don't think it's a plot hole.

So what? It was an OBSERVATION. What's the big deal?

No big deal. Just an observation. People are saying there are "plot holes you can drive a truck through," but I haven't seen too many. There may be some problems here and there, and some thnings that make you scratch your head (such as why Hiro doesn't just start over if he doesn't like the way things are going), but nothing to me screams "huge plot hole."

Its one of the best shows on TV right now can't you just enjoy it without picking it to peices? Some people put way to much thought into it, its fiction it doesn't have to make sense, just has to be entertaining and it is very entertaining.

How about the biggest plot hole of them all:

Why doesn't Peter read Adam's mind ever to find out he's lying?

I mean, come on...sometime along the way, he would have used it, and Adam knew about it and should have feared it. Adam has no other powers but immortality, so wouldn't he have been afraid Peter would figure him out?

That's just your opinion. I know many people that don't watch it anymore because it ISN'T entertaining. One of the best shows on television? Wow. :)

I have answered this repeatedly already. Peter has never...ever read anyone's mind. It took Parkman an entire season to be good at it and that was with him only concentrating on how to get good at it. You need to accept the fact that Peter is overall more powerful but less skillful than the other characters.

Because his father asked him to leave him to his fate. After that Hiro was free to seek his vengeance and did.

Peter's "explosion" is much like the Human Torch when he goes nova blast. The energy emits from him not through him.

If Hiro teleported anyone to the moon he would die immediately.

Okay, I guess I can accept the explanation of Peter not dying from the explosion, but the Hiro stuff makes no sense. I never said he should have stopped Adam from killing his father. His father was already over the ledge on his way to his death. He could have teleported him then or even gone downstairs and waited for them to hit the ground. He could also take Adam any number of places or times.

Peter knows he aborbs powers right?

So wouldn't he use his blood and give it to Nathan?

Or Claire now knows her blood saved Noah. Nathan's assassination is public knowledge. Wouldn't she just call?

Also why does a shot to the head kill Peter/Adam, yet a shot to the head to Noah doesn't mean the end of him because he got blood from somebody who can regenerate?

Peter has the ability to heal. He absorbed it from Claire last season. I guess it's possible that he hadn't realized he could just give somebody else his blood to heal them, but he should realize it now. All you should have to do is give some of his blood to his brother to save him from the shooting.

It's still a fun show. I'll keep watching it when there are more episodes. I just find myself asking these kinds of questions throughout the episodes.
