Awesome, I get it to play again then it freezes with just over 2 minutes left. I've seen the stupid online Nissan Rogue ad about 20 times today because everytime I have to restart it shows the ad.

Right, because that over-the-top product placement in the show in which the assistant manager of a Kinko's is able to afford a $20,000 car for her daughter wasn't enough.

I HATE NBC.com's new video format. While it gives you the option to load by chapter it never does and always loads from the beginning, and it freezes up constantly. It took me 5 tries to get to the last 10 minutes of the show and now it freezes up with just under 4 minutes left...how stinking frustrating.

Last year was so much easier, I watched both Heroes and Friday Night Lights online with no problems. arrgh

just use this:

Was he really the assistant manager?

They also have a great house for his pay as well.

I know lots of people were left unsatisfied with the finale of season1, vut I thought it was a near perfect ending. It left enough of the over-arching mysteries in place, wrapped up the current "villain-arch" in fairly classic comic-book fashion, and alluded to a bigger, badder villain when Molly says there's one person she never looks for "because he can see me."

Looking forward to this season, but it's going to be tough not to watch it one after another like I did recently with S1.

You mean by not wrapping it up at all? The finale was soooo bad. I'm a little encouraged by the season opener--lots of interesting new stuff--but unless they tone back the 'we're going to throw 20 gallons of spaghetti at the wall and see if it sticks' crap, it'll be the same old, same old.

You mean same old, same awesome.

I really don't get the problems people have with the show. Villians always are left to come back in the comics.

FYI, the show producers have said they are going to be a bit more focused this season, and also there will be no break in the episodes.

Sweet! For the most part, I loved the entire season. I did think the season finale was a little weak, just because I wanted more action. (story of my life).

When is the first season of any show as phenomenal as this one? Usually the first season is weakest, and it just builds from there. Gotta have a learning curve in there somewhere.

Wouldn't accessing his old account eventually lead to him? I know he could have just pulled all the money out at one time, but them secret agent peoples are everywhere!
It's fiction...go with it. ;)

Oh, and he probably got a ton of money from his insurance for his house burning down.

I wasn't all that excited for the season premiere, and now I'm glad I wasn't. It just didn't do much for me. I'm probably just bitter because the only show starting up again that I really care about is probably going to be canceled by Christmas. If they get rid of Friday Night Lights AND 30 Rock I'm going to go ballistic.

I agree with Gad. There's just too much going on, and there's only a couple storylines I really care about.

I guess that's the real trip up for me. I really like the samurai stuff and I sort of like the weird tension between the cheerleader and her/father/real father. Suresh keeps my interest about every other episode. The rest of the characters I have problems with. Hate the acting by the Peter Brady-looking guy who plays Matt Parker. Cannot stand either the acting or the storyline for the split-personality girl. If having a psycho-b split personality is a power, then I know many women in real life who are superheroes. Actually, the cheerleader's father is one of my favorites when he's kicking butt ... I don't care for him when he's the sentimental father, but I don't mind it as long as it drives him to be kick-butt 50s-glasses-wearing guy. I really like the idea of a hero without superpowers in the midst of all this paranormal stuff.

I still maintain this show could be EPIC if they try not so hard to be a comic book and dig deeper into traditional myths and legends ... because the appeal to me is that myths and legends storyline, like the background to the movie Unbreakable. All those heroes stories are true? There's a cosmic force at work selecting a chosen few to work out the battle between good and evil? ETERNALLY GOOD MATERIAL THERE. Drive it home for me now. Don't just hint at it.

JJ Abrams would be pissed at you for that! That's his childhood friend from Kindergarten. He was in Alias as Agent Weiss and that's why I like him so much in this show.

Oh, and he was the pilot of Oceanic 815 that was killed by the smoke monster in the pilot episode of Lost. :)

I just saw the S2 premier, and I liked it. I don't see it as too many storylines.

Anyone else think Hiro will become Kensei and fulfill his destiny for him?

wouldn't surprise me. I don't know, though. I thought I saw something that alluded to the other dude having a power? (previews for next week) Or maybe I was dreaming...damn realistic dreams...

What do you mean they didn't wrap it up? They stopped NY from being wiped off the map and defeated Sylar (for now). That's all that needed to be wrapped up. If you wanted all of the questions to be answered, what did you want the subsequent seasons to be about?

Sark does have a power...as stated in EW last issue. It is supposed to have impact on the entire Heroverse.

Um, you just answered it right there. They didn't clear up that villain arc, just gave him a cheesy out. The ballsy thing to do, and in my estimation the only thing to do, was to kill Sylar or have New York go up. Instead, they fluffed it, with the Heroes winning, but that gosh-darn bad guy gets to live!

IMO, trying to play a bit with the comic book type hokiness will kill them because the writers and creator have NO IDEA what to do with this series. Is it a drama? It tries very hard at times to be a serious drama, usually in vain. Is it a comedy? It tries very hard at times to be funny, and Hiro usually pulls it off. Is it a hokey comic book show? Absolutely not, which is why Sylar getting away at the end was sooo damned STUPID.

Until this show actually gains anything resembling focus, it will remain what it always has been--an okay show with some cool angles. Not great, but worth watching for now.
