I am Hiro, though I can't seem to post the pic, so you'll just have to take my word for it. :)

Okay, again, an episode that could have been great that was just 'eh, okay' for me. I didn't have time to do the following study for the whole show, but it is pretty telling.

The following is how long each story line was followed before switching...times are approximate...

1-Ireland-1 minute 45 seconds
2-Siblings-1 minute 30 seconds
3-Micah-45 seconds
4-Sylar-2 minutes
5-Claire-2 minutes
6-Mohninder/NY Life-1 minute
7-Ando/Hiro-3 minutes 15 seconds

All of this was before the second commercial, for crying out loud. That is pretty damn bad. It's friggin' ADD TV. The show needs ritalin (sp?). I'm giving it another episode. It has some great stuff in there, but instead of playing it up, it's fallen too far into the 'few seconds of this, few seconds of that' zone.

I still liked it.

I loved it.

The tease of Mr. Bennett being dead at the end of the season floored me.

I have two theories as to who the big bad guy is. #1 is the kid that Claire is with. Whomever killed Hiro's father had to have the ability to fly OR it is Kenzo because he could regen from the fall. My guess is they have already introduced the villian.

re: Bennett...same here. Was shocked. Since New York DIDN'T blow up, we know that the future can be changed, and his paintings might not always hold up, but I'm really intrigued by this.

My first thought was Claire's guy, too, but Peter's mom seemed to have been attacked by something invisible that was scratching her to bits. Wes doesn't seem to have that ability, unless he's hiding stuff still.

LOVE that Sylar is powerless. Awesome. That will drive him insane. I wanna know why the illusionist chick didn't just make herself appear like a can of soup or something. I felt that was a plot hole. She could have done plenty to get away from him.

I don't see what the problem is.

Maybe it's because I have ADD. Hell, you can't love the Internet and NOT have ADD...it's paradise.

Seriously, did you WANT more than 45 seconds of Micah? "Meanwhile, back in Naw'lins, Micah pops in on ol' grandma crazy. More on that later."

Works for me.

I agree it is Kenzo. Hiro altered history by going back and is giving Kenzo more information he didn't have before (there are others like him, etc). I had wondered if you could regen, did that make you immortal. Kenzo must be still around, and if he is, he's a badass. Is he an evil badass is the question that is left.

I'm really curious what shows you DO like...you seem to have major issues with everything you watch :)

More thoughts:

The car that the twins got into was Claire's stolen car. It seems the twin's ultimate destination will be the Bennett house

The reason that Sylar's powers aren't working is because he perceives the world as clocks. Currently his clock (body) is broken. This is why Claire's powers are so crucial to Sylar because injuries can block his abilities

It is not Mr. Bennett in that painting at all. Rather it is a healed Sylar using his newly stolen illusion power to appear as Bennett to try to kill Claire. Her and the new kid manage to defeat him

I really like that approach on the third one, Chris, but...

when Sylar killed the shape changer, she reverted to her original form (fat lady). Sylar would revert to Sylar, even if pretending to be Mr. Bennett...and that shot through the eye is dead as dead can be so he's not mid-transformation.

While I agree with what you're saying...I wouldn't be surprised if they overlooked that little tidbit & Chris was right.

That would be too hokey and I don't think they'd overlook it. They didn't have to show what they did in that scene, and the fact that the two things are in the same episode I think it's a red herring. They wouldn't make a plot hole that enormous, in the same episode.

Again, I think it would be awesome but I don't think it's the way they are going.

Chuck is fun. House is good in a change-of-pace way. Scrubs is incredible. M*A*S*H is the best show ever. Rome and Deadwood are close on its heels. Carnivale was very cool. I like a lot of the old sitcoms too, like Night Court.

She didn't immediately change remember? Some time had passed before the illusion "wore off"

I was only half-watching, so I actually missed that part. Good to know. I am DEFINITELY going with your theory, then.

I have just noticed that the events in the paintings are rarely what they seem, even when they come true. So I am trying to figure out what the "swerve" is.

One of the best shows on TV not hard to watch at all just have to follow multiple story lines, whats the big deal?

I'm on board with this theory. The Kenzo storyline has gotten a lot of play so far this season. Plus, we already know he is a greedy guy who only cares about himself.

Plus, we saw that sign on his sword. The only question is, is that when the sign started appearing? Or did it appear in time before Kenzo?

Personally, I think Hiro is seriously jacking up the future by trying to make everything right.

BTW, I LOVED that Sylar couldn't take her power.

I think Sylar TOOK her power...he just can't use it. Unless that's what you meant.
