That's exactly it...he's been around for a long, long time...just waiting for Hiro to be back from the past.

I knew having Hiro in the past for so long would affect something, but I didn't think about Kensai/Adam until you guys started talking about it here. Pretty cool tie in. Will be interesting to see what happens between them in "present" time.

Mohinder is the biggest puss on the planet and if he does shoot Mr. Bennett I will be awfully pissed off. I was hoping he would grab the gun and shoot Bob right there.

I wanted to shoot Mohinder when he confessed to Bob that he was working with Bennett. What was he thinking? He said he didn't know who to trust, so he just showed all his cards to one of the guys he's not sure he trusts? For someone who knows so much about science, he's pretty freaking dumb when it comes to common sense.

Claire is a whiney bitch in the second season and her flying boyfriend is a freaking stalker. Showing up uninvited with breakfast and sending texts about it? Not romantic. Freaking creepy.

And what kind of mother just lets some kid in? I don't recall her meeting him at any other point in the show. Did I miss something?

It was kinda cool though to see him get all freaked out at seeing Mr. Bennett.

Was happy that there was more about Peter in this episode.

methinks he just lives forever? Regenerating would keep you young & healthy forever, I guess.

I know yyou can't start getting nitpicky with these type of shows or you'll ruin it, but how is it determined what age they (self healers) will live at. If they are born with this gene and should stay young, wouldnt they be forever infants. Or are we to assume they grow into adults and stop aging?. I dunno, I hope it turns out he is another that absorbs powers or something and is time jumping like Hiro, otherwise I'll have to pretend it makes sense.

Haven't doctors come up with some age at which you are no longer growing but starting to die? Maybe it's at that point. I dunno. But yeah, you can't nitpick it or you'll just ruin it for yourself. :)

That is really depressing...the part about the age you start to die.

or couldnt it just be dependant on what age your powers made themselves known.

For example Claire's regeneration powers didnt become evident until now, which has allowed her to grow to this age. she could hypothetically stay this age forever i guess.

No--Clare survived the fire as an infant because of her regen powers. She's always been this way.

Heroes' second season may be coming to a close a lot sooner than expected due to the forthcoming apocalypse, also known in some circles as the damn writers' strike.

Sources confirm that the show is going back and shooting an alternate ending to the Dec. 3 episode that, if used, would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of a strike. Originally, the episode was only supposed to serve as the conclusion of the current "Generations" arc. Should an 11th-hour agreement be reached and a strike averted (fingers crossed!), the alt ending would likely be scrapped.

update to this: Kring refused to do the rewrite. If the strike goes on, the Dec 3 episode won't wrap up the current Generations arc.

Shane can hang out at my house and drink my Kiltlifter. We are seeing eye to eye on a very important issue.

EXCELLENT episode. Just as I thought, Sark (Kensei/Adam) is the bad guy, living forever.

Once Hiro went in the past and messed up, he changed everything, thus Sylar disappeared, Peter too, etc.

Mohindar is a cooch...seriously, what a sissy.

Yes, West is a freaking stalker...freak.

Mr. Bennett is a stud.

Ned, Ned Ryerson is so evil it isn't even funny. I trust him so little.

Why is that people who live forever age for a number of years and then stop aging?

If you looked closely you could see Adam's sideburns were BEHIND his ears. *nip and tuck* *nip and tuck* *nip and tuck*

I'm pretty stoked that next week they're supposed to be revealing what's happened between the end of last season & the beginning of this one (Peter, in particular--how he got where he is...what happened to his memory--looks like the Haitian took it?)

update to this: I was wrong - Kring apparently did do the rewrite so the Generations chapter will be wrapped up in the event of the strike continuing.

Really, really good article in EW about how Heroes was broke but Kring is fixing it.

Must read for fans of the show.

he was calling to explain why Heroes, suffering a creative decline and a 15 percent ratings drop from the same period last year, went from Human Torch hot to Iceman cold. The good news? A turnaround appears to be under way. After weeks of sluggish storytelling, the Nov. 5 episode recaptured some of last season's fanciful energy. We've also seen the next two episodes — and we like them, too. The cliff-hangers are back. Narrative purpose has been discovered. Old favorites like Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Horn-Rimmed Glasses (Jack Coleman) take center stage. Even more encouraging: Kring himself is keenly aware that Heroes is broken. Here's his candid critique:

THE PACE IS TOO SLOW ''We assumed the audience wanted season 1 — a buildup of intrigue about these characters and the discovery of their powers. We taught [them] to expect a certain kind of storytelling. They wanted adrenaline. We made a mistake.''

And on...

Underwhelming episode tonight.

Going over what happened right after the end of last season is a great idea but to be honest I could have done without Maya and Alejandro's background(they are totally useless characters IMO). I'm trying to keep this spoiler free but there are some other characters from last season who I would have been more interested in what they were doing than them.

This show needs to be fixed. Its not even close to as good as it was last season.
