Nightmare Man indeed. And Veronica Hero is interesting in that it seems she has to charge her power up on metal.
Show is back on track after a couple of ok outings. Next week looks really, really good.

I don't think she had to charge her power up, but maybe I'm wrong.
I thought the first time was to show off what her power was, and the second was to lock/melt the door.
I'm hoping they can cure Nicki so her character can just fade away.
No thanks...she's hot.
We'll see I guess. She already locked the door, no need to melt it. The first time was kind of dumb as it would have been much cooler to only see her power towards the end there. Give her a bit more mystery (even though everyone knew all about her anyway because it's KB.)
I think it will be interesting if she had to charge up to do it...could lead to her downfall.

Also, she/her power gives an interesting tease into what happened to Peter between the finale last season and him being found in the shipping crate. He was with her--that's how he got his own electricity power.
It also seems she/her dad was shipping him to Ireland for some reason. Which just seems weird, and I bet it's a detail that's never explained.

I enjoyed it for what it was. They finally gave the show some direction. It seems that the "cure" the company is making will indeed become a virus that attacks the general populace. Nice to see Saresh correct about anything.

I'm getting really bored with the Hiro in Japan storyline...they need to wrap that up and yet again the twins illegally entering the country with Sylar is again almost unwatchable.
I was ready to quit this show had Mohinder given the girl the shot to get rid of her powers...she's the best part of the new season IMO.

most of the storylines are going absolutely nowhere. its understandable to have a week here or there of fluff, but there really has not been a solid foundation for any of these stories.
Heroes' second season may be coming to a close a lot sooner than expected due to the forthcoming apocalypse, also known in some circles as the damn writers' strike.
Sources confirm that the show is going back and shooting an alternate ending to the Dec. 3 episode that, if used, would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of a strike. Originally, the episode was only supposed to serve as the conclusion of the current "Generations" arc. Should an 11th-hour agreement be reached and a strike averted (fingers crossed!), the alt ending would likely be scrapped.

The entire Hiro in the past storyline was what I thought it was...the way to introduce the newest villian.
Here are my thoughts on the episode:
Mr. Bennett is by far my favorite character.
Parkman still rocks.
I like Nathan quite a bit.
Mohinder is the biggest puss on the planet and if he does shoot Mr. Bennett I will be awfully pissed off. I was hoping he would grab the gun and shoot Bob right there.
Claire is a whiney bitch in the second season and her flying boyfriend is a freaking stalker. Showing up uninvited with breakfast and sending texts about it? Not romantic. Freaking creepy.
I could care less that Nikki/Jessica is about to die. She needs to pull a Nathan and have a dramatic character turn.
No twins or Sylar was a good thing.
This episode seemed longer than the rest have.
